It's that time of year again when college students everywhere are trying to find the perfect Halloween costume. Do you wanna show some skin? Look cute? Be clever? By the time Halloween comes, you may not have time to think of an original costume, but pick any of these and you will be among the crowd of many.
1. Minimal Effort

Are those bunny ears, mouse ears, or cat ears? You just put on ears and a tail, and call yourself some sort of animal. There are probably hundreds of you.
2. Yourself

You were either too cool for a costume, or just could not think of something. You don't want to admit that you don't have a costume so, when someone asks what you are, you answer "Myself."
3. A College Student in Debt

Another variation of yourself, but this time you think you are witty for thinking of another way to say "myself." Put on a regular outfit and, wow, you have a regular college student-in debt.
4. The Clique

These costumes are for groups. They try to recreate "Mean Girls," "Pretty Little Liars," "Gossip Girl," "Orange is the New Black," or other shows that have multiple female characters. If they look like the characters, it can work. However, that happens probably 5 percent of the time, so it is usually hard to guess what they are without them telling you.
5. Scary

The zombies, clowns and masks. Not everyone wants to look cute on Halloween. The holiday is supposed to be scary, after all. Usually the dudes dress up in these costumes to try and scare the girls.
6. Pinterest Girls

This is your time to shine. You have been pinning Halloween costumes since last Halloween. You have a board dedicated to this, and are ready. Group ideas, couple ideas, or single ideas, you can do it all and make it look good.
7. Characters

You can finally dress up as your favorite character from that book or movie you love. You have planned out the perfect outfit that will look cute and match your character. "Harry Potter," "The Hunger Games," and "Star Wars" are common choices.
8. Nobody Really Knows

You just kind of threw things together and called it a costume. A superhero cape mixed with a baseball hat and a light saber is a valid costume. Right?
9. As Little as Possible

You take this holiday as an excuse to dress, well, skimpy. There are thousands of costumes to choose from that fit this criteria, and you definitely will not be the odd man out.10. Disney Themed

You are probably a Pinterest girl, but you have a undying dedication to Disney. "Minions" and "Frozen" replicas roam, whether you are nine or 19. You could be a Disney Princess, Minnie Mouse, or a "Toy Story" Character. The options are endless.
11. Goofy

You want to be funny, or clever. Your aim is to make people laugh this Halloween. This includes the sumo wrestlers, or the "Captain Obvious" costume. You do not care about looking cute. This day is all about having fun.
Halloween is one of the best holidays of the year, but it can be stressful trying to pick a costume. Everyone wants to look cute, but we do not want to spend a lot of money trying to do so. As long as you are having fun, and get some candy, I would say that equals a pretty successful Halloween.
