Thank you for always being there regardless of the distance between us or how often we speak. Some of you have been in my life for 10 years, others only two. Nevertheless, you are some of my best friends, and I am so grateful for each and every one of you.
When it comes to our individual friendships, each one is unique in its own way. Whether we talk every day or every few months, each friendship is just as strong. I can run to each of you about absolutely anything, and I hope you can do the same. Our disagreements, that almost never occur, blow over in a matter of five minutes. Our conversations range from ghosts and food to depression and anxiety. There is truly never a dull conversation between any of us; we always manage to keep things interesting, even if we do talk every day, all day.
Our memories, I could go on forever about. Whether our memories are made in some exotic location or each of our hometowns, they are always unforgettable. However, showing each one of you around my beloved city or college town is always a blessing. My family knows each of you as their adopted daughters a thousand miles away, and they look forward to you coming for a visit almost as much as I do. But don't get me wrong, I do also love adventuring your lives when it is my turn to hop on a plane.
The best thing about our friendships is that regardless of how often these visits occur, we still remain incredibly close. We do not let the distance or the amount we see one another affect our friendship in any way. Each visit seems to get better and better as we grow older, and I look forward to seeing what the future has in store for our friendships.
Hopefully one day each one of you will be present at my wedding or there at my children's birthday parties as their long-distance aunts, and I hope I'll be at your weddings or children's birthday parties. I say hope only because we always joke about never getting married or having kids. Who knows, maybe we’ll even move closer to one another, but ultimately, I hope our friendship lasts a lifetime. No matter what I will always remain only a phone call away, at all hours of the night.
