Spring break is the biggest college student (vacation) gathering known to all of America. It consists of partying for an entire week, drinks upon sunrises and sunsets, beach bodies, and definitely a handful of secrets. Deciding where to spend spring break isn't a coin toss decision, it takes strategic planning and consistent dreaming. Your personality, maturity level, and class year will decide where you go for spring break!
1. Panama City Beach, Florida
For years Panama City Beach, Florida has been the hot spot of all spring breakers according to the TravelChannel. It's a great first time vacation spot for a group of young college students (or first time spring breakers)!
2. Miami Beach, Florida
Before Panama City Beach took over, Miami Beach, Florida was the go to for college students! It's known for featuring insane boat parties and concerts!
3. NYC
It isn't completely normal, but it isn't wrong to want to spend your spring break shopping in New York City, New York! The views are outrageous, the streets are filled to capacity, and the shopping is every shopaholic's dream!
4. Myrtle Beach
If you've never been to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, then spring break will definitely be a great time to head on over. Known for its friendliness toward students, Myrtle Beach offers tours, party houses, and, of course, the warm spring break weather that we are all searching for!
5. New Orleans
If you've heard too much about Florida vacations for spring break, you may want to avoid traditions and take a trip with your friends to New Orleans, Louisiana for ghost tours, daytime jazz, and a night of unforgettable partying!
6. South Padre Island, TX
By now you're growing out of the old east coast spring break trips. You're a junior or senior in college and your parents trust you enough to go a wee bit further, so you might end up in South Padre Island, Texas for jet skiing, surfing, clubbing, eating at nearby restaurants and enjoying the Texas heat!
7. Cancun
Known for it's epic day parties, beautiful water, and day-to-day performances, Cancun, Mexico is known by StudentCity as the Ultimate Spring Break Destination!
8. Las Vegas
For the in-between students who aren't as interested in beach parties, but who are definitely into the clubbing and gambling scene, Las Vegas, Nevada wouldn't be too bad of a vacation!
9. LA
Los Angeles, California is the best place to go for experiencing both the beach and city life! You may even run into someone quite special and very famous!
10. Jamaica
Finally, it's time to graduate from college and you want the best spring break of your life. You'll want to spend your spring break in Jamaica, surrounded by beautiful people and even more beautiful nature.
Now, get on the computer and book your spring break flight! You don't want to spend any more spring breaks drinking coffee in your window, watching ice melt from your windshield.
