10 TV Couples That Are Relationship Goals

A TV show isn't complete without a couple we can look up to.

10 TV Couples That Are Relationship Goals

Every good TV show has a couple that we all look up to. Whether it's love at first sight, a friendship that bloomed into a relationship, or an on again off again saga, we love to watch people fall in love on TV Although we can't hang all of our hopes and dreams on these couples because they're fictional, it's nice to dream we'll find our own Nathan Scott/Derek Shepherd/Chuck Bass one day. So in no particular order, here are 10 TV couples we all adore.

1. Nathan and Haley Scott

They defied all of the odds by getting married in high school and actually making it work. They made sacrifices and supported each other in everything. We watched as Nathan continually tried to become a man he thought Haley deserved, and Haley exhibited true grace as they faced storm after storm together. They stuck by each other's side even when things were tough, and they loved each other more every day. #Naleyforever.

2. Eric and Tami Taylor

Eric and Tami might have been parents, but they still acted like teenagers in love. They were never afraid to show their affection for each other. They always sought each other out before making big decisions and took each other's feelings into consideration. Tami always supported Eric in everything he did, and Eric was immensely proud of all of her accomplishments. When it came time for Tami to follow her dreams, Eric stepped back and let her shine. With them, it really was clear eyes and full hearts.

3. Chandler and Monica Bing

Their relationship was anything but boring. Dating your brother's best friend can be tricky, but they made it work. They were complete opposites, but that's what made them the best. They were always joking with each other and fit together so perfectly. She was neurotic and a perfectionist, and he was stable and low-key. Monica taught Chandler to take life a little more seriously, and he taught her to take it less seriously, which made for a happily ever after. I mean, could they be any cuter?

4. Meredith and Derek Shepherd

With such a whirlwind of a relationship we sometimes wondered if they would end up together at all. But just when we started to give up hope, Meredith was in the arms of McDreamy once again (probably in the elevator). Even through all the ups and downs, the love they had for each other was real. They each made their mistakes, but they forgave each other and grew together. They were honest with each other even when it was hard, and that's why we love them - because they love each other even when they hate each other.

5. Jesse and Becky Katsopolis

Let's be honest, who doesn't wish they could be Aunt Becky? Jesse's love for Becky never wavered, and they just seemed so comfortable together. Becky didn't care that he was a struggling musician living with his brother in law, she knew how much his family meant to him. She loved DJ, Stephanie, and Michelle as her own and got plenty of parenting practice for when the twins came along. Fun fact, John Stamos and Lori Loughlin actually dated in real life for a while. Have mercy!

6. Glenn and Maggie Rhee

Because every zombie apocalypse needs a love story. Glenn married up because Maggie is a total babe. It's hard to find other humans in the zombie apocalypse, let alone your soul mate. They didn't even have a wedding ceremony, Glenn just gave her a ring and that was that. They complement each other in so many ways and fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. Even in the dark world of the Walking Dead, Glenn and Maggie give us the hope we need.

7. Jim and Pam Halpert

Jim and Pam are a perfect example of best friends who fell in love. At first, things were rocky, but Jim knew from the start that Pam was the one. You really have to be crazy about someone to buy a ring after knowing them for only a week. But thank goodness he was right! Jim and Pam are totally in sync with each other, which comes from years of friendship. They know being together is the most important thing, and even when it was difficult they made sacrifices for each other.

8. Cory and Topanga Matthews

Middle school sweethearts are even better than high school sweethearts, because how many people are still with their middle school boyfriend? Even though they didn't actually "date" until high school, we knew from day one that Cory and Topanga were meant to be. They were prom king and queen, and got engaged at graduation and got married in college. They struggled together and grew together, and loved each other so much. Everybody loves Cory and Topanga even though they gave us crazy, unrealistic expectations for love.

9. Leslie and Ben Wyatt

Everyone loves a relationship that forms out of mutual dislike. It just helps to prove the whole "boys are only mean to you because they like you" theory we were taught in elementary school. It's even better when they actually get married. Leslie and Ben appreciate each other's quirks and support one another through anything. The little things are still big things to them, which makes them adorable. Let's not forget Leslie's love for Ben's butt, either.

10. Chuck and Blair Bass

Everyone’s favorite power couple from the Upper East Side. Chuck is the bad boy we love to hate and Blair is the scheming Queen B, so they’re a match made in heaven. Their relationship is definitely up and down, and sometimes you think they downright hate each other. But love prevails, and in the end, Blair finally becomes Mrs. Chuck Bass – a title we’re all secretly jealous of. Chuck loves Blair’s strong will, and Blair loves the goodness that we all knew was somewhere deep inside of him. Their relationship is an example of how love can conquer anything.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
