You wake up and you realize you're already late for work. You jump out of bed and drive to the nearest Dunkin' Donuts to grab some breakfast and a coffee. As we all know "America runs on Dunkin'" But what some of America may not know, are some facts that'll help you be the best customer your Dunkin' Donuts has asked for.

1. Don't talk on the phone while you're at the Drive Thru box.

We get it, Little Timmy needs to be picked up from soccer practice so you have to find a baby sitter for little maggie, but that whole conversation you just had with your husband doesn't translate to large hot coffee with cream and sugar, and two chocolate frosted donuts with sprinkles. It's actually pretty rude if you're on the phone when we are trying to serve you. Keep in mind we can hear everything you're saying. When you pull up, put the phone down for two seconds so we can get you through the drive through as quick as possible.

2. Don't order from the passenger seat.

If we ask you to repeat your order, don't get angry if you're ordering from the passenger seat because chances are WE CAN'T HEAR YOU. Just tell the person in the driver's seat what you want so they can order for you. It'll get you through the ordering process quicker if we can hear everything you are saying loud and clear.

3. Make sure you specify if you want a hot coffee or an iced coffee!

If you order a medium mocha swirl coffee with cream and one sweet and low, we're going to assume that its a hot coffee because you didn't say iced. Please keep in mind that when you order a coffee, you need to specify if it's hot or iced so we can make it correctly and charge you the right price for the beverage.

4. Our creamer is not flavored, but you can add flavor to it.

Flavored creamer has never been a thing. At Dunkin' it is more than possible to get your favorite flavor of coffee without having to add cream, milk, or skim milk. For example if you would like a medium coconut coffee black, we can do that because our flavors and our creamer are two separate condiments. So make sure when you order your usual large toasted almond coffee to mention that you would like creamer if you don't like it black!

5. French Vanilla and French Vanilla Swirl are two different things. (Same goes for the Hazelnut!)

French Vanilla Swirl and Hazelnut Swirl were released a few years ago to the public who really enjoyed our traditional unsweetened french vanilla and hazelnut flavors. Here's the low down, WE WILL NOT PUT FRENCH VANILLA SWIRL OR HAZELNUT SWIRL UNLESS YOU SAY "SWIRL." Most people for years have always ordered their coffee with just the normal/unsweetened hazelnut and french vanilla. Saying that, we encourage our customers to say "swirl" if they would like the sweetened flavor instead.

6. Latte's DO NOT get cream, and can not be "light and sweet."

Latte's do not get cream. Everrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Latte's are made with milk and expresso. We will ask if you would like to add sugar and whip cream to your hot or iced latte always. Just keep in mind if you ask for less ice in your iced latte it will be getting more milk than the normal amount. Or, you can add an extra expresso shot for 99 cents. Macchiatos also have sugar and whip cream, and are also made with a measured amount of expresso, plus an extra expresso shot, and milk. So make sure you ask for sugar and whip cream if you would like that on your latte or macchiato!

Side note: Please do not give us a dirty look and stir your macchiato in front of us like we were to lazy to do it, a macchiato is a layered drink....it's not supposed to be stirred.

7. Order your food first, especially if you're ordering hash browns.

The faster you order your food, the quicker it gets made. Always order your food first because it usually takes longer to make then most of the drinks on the menu. If you're only ordering hash browns, or adding hash browns to your food order, PLEASE order them before anything else. Hash browns take the longest time to cook in the oven, especially if you order two, three, or even four orders at once.

8. Combos don't exist anymore.

Don't order a number five because number fives don't exist anymore. Dunkin' has gotten rid of their combos! So you can still order your favorite sandwich, just make sure you order your drink with it!

9. Dunkin' doesn't sell frappuccinos, but they do have coolattas!

You might be a little confused with Starbucks if you come through the Dunkin' drive thru and order a frappuccino. Dunkin' sells coolattas, which is very similar to a frappuccino except you also have the option of choosing from a variety of fruit flavors as well, such as strawberry, orange, blue raspberry, sour apple, and watermelon.

10. We can't take your trash through the drive-thru (sorry).

It is a rule that we are not allowed to take any of your used products or trash through the drive thru. It is considered cross contamination if we were to take someones garbage and take it through the drive thru where we serve and make your food. Just come inside and throw it away. Or put it in the nearest public trashcan!

Please do us a favor and have your money ready when you get to your window so we can take it and tender your order for you, even if your entire order isn't ready (but it should be because you ordered your hash browns first, wink wink). We're going to get it out to you as fast as possible so we can help you get on your way to start your day!

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
