As a pet owner, I can confidently say (in my opinion, at least) that I am blessed with the cutest, most loving pets I could have ever asked for. Even more, as an animal lover, I can say that every living animal has potential to be just as much as a blessing in someone's life.
It is beyond this reason that I am a firm believer that people can learn a lot from their pets! Animals can teach us some humbling lessons, all we have to do is pay attention.
1. They do not hold grudges, and always forgive.
All animals know is love, and regardless of what happens to them or how they have been treated, their main goal is still to love. A pet will always love their owner, and though they may get moody, they could never stay mad at you.
2. Seeking love and affection is okay. Giving unconditional love is even better!
If there's one thing an animal wants, it's attention... and they definitely are not afraid to ask for it! And more importantly, they will force their love and affection on you! Come on, you know you love it.
3. Happiness is key.
With not a care in the world, what else is there to do but enjoy it! Not only are animals happy, little balls of joy, but they also bring happiness to those around them!
4. They are always ready to greet their family.
From the time that you leave, to the time you come back, your pet will sit and wait for your arrival only to greet you with open arms! An animals owners and family is their entire life. They will always be happy to see you, and prepared to prove it.
5. They will always be a shoulder to cry on.
No matter what, your pet will always be there for you. It always seem that they can tell when somethings wrong or you are not yourself. Even if they are aware of it or not, they always manage to lift your spirits.
6. No judgement here! They are always accepting.
Lets face it... animals do not really have any room to judge, because they can be just as weird as us! Even when we are at our worst and weirdest state, at least they will still love us!
7. They are stress free!
If there's one thing animals know, it's the meaning of lazy! They love hard, and play harder. Being a pet is hard work, so it's only natural that they are the masters of relaxation.
8. They are always ready to protect their loved ones.
Whether it be their owner, family, babies, food, or even their toys, an animal will go out of their way to protect! Pets love unconditionally, so they have no bounds or limitations as to what they would do for them!
9. Don't forget to play!
There is always time for fun when it comes to the life of a pet! They are carefree and packed full of energy. Animals love to run and play with their friends and family!
10. They will always be appreciative and grateful.
You are the light of your pet's life, literally. They owe everything to you. You are their best friend. They know you love them, and they love you just as much. Even the littlest things and gestures that animals do, prove that this is true. They may be a handful sometimes, but your are their world, and that makes it all worth it!
