Here is a list of things that drive me nuts.

1. Donald Trump

I don’t think I really need to dive all that deep into this one, I am sure you have read seen the news at some point In the last year and a half.

2. Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton is the other option; I really don’t have much to say.

3. People who announce when they un-friend people on Facebook.

What is the point of this? Do you want me to feel lucky that I am one of the chosen few who made the cut, and get to compete in the next round? I don’t care who you are and aren’t friends with on Facebook. Truthfully, I have my own annoying people on Facebook to hide from and the last thing I want to do is read about how annoying yours are and what course of action you have taken to handle them.

4. People that text while sitting at red lights.

PUT DOWN THE PHONE AND DRIVE!!!

Don’t you ever get tired of people honking at you when the lights go green? Because I get tired of having to honk at you.

5. Fox News

…Trump

6. People who get all heated about the second amendment.

Without Googling it, what is the ninth amendment? I am all for having guns (to an extent), but unless you know all of our constitutional rights, dial it back a bit.

And by the way, where is the NRA when the government says that people who use medical marijuana cannot purchase guns? Seems a little unconstitutional to me.

7. This guy…

8. Watching people chop food.

I just can’t do it, I have seen to many people cut themselves because they don’t know what they are doing.

9. P.S.L.

There is a time and a place for pumpkins spice latte’s; September 1st is not that time. I know the summer heat can get a little tiring at this time of year, but quit living in the future—embrace now. There will be plenty of time for P.S.L. in November.

10. The words “I have more important things to worry about.”

Really, did it ever cross your mind that maybe what you deemed less important, is really important to me? Hopefully one of these days I can make it up your mountain where you sit on your high horse and we can have an adult conversation about these things.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
