Starting over at Fordham as a sophomore put me in an interesting situation when it came to a housing assignment. Being that I was a transfer student I was placed with a randomly selected roommate, and I was fortunate enough to be placed in an apartment with two other individuals as well. I completely lucked out because I got a fantastic roommate for this year and I am hoping that when she reads this she appreciates the fact that I decided to write an article about the conversations we have daily that I am sharing with all of you. Living with someone else really lets you in on other people's daily routines, study and sleep habits, social life, eating patterns, and gym schedule. We consistently are talking both in and out of the apartment and to be honest a lot of our conversations are quite comical (yet other's are bland...) so I figured I would share them with all of you.
1. Are you going out tonight? Can we go out tonight? Let's party.
2. Are you hungry yet? Should we order in or go to the dining hall? Dining hall we don't have enough money to order in.
3. (At 4:00 am) Can we please get pizza? I will buy your pizza if you come with me, I am so serious I will buy it for you.
4. Are you listening to me? Why does no one ever listen to me?
5. Please go like my Instagram. (30 seconds later) Why haven't you liked it yet?
6. Where did you sleep last night? Oh you slept on the couch again okay cool
7. How does this outfit look on me?
8. Are you awake yet? Wake up wake up I am lonely and needy.
9. How did you get home last night?
10. Oh my god I have so so much to fill you in on.
