Living life to its fullest potential is no easy task. But like any task, if you write down goals it makes anything more achievable. So in order to live your life fully it seems logical to create a bucket list. Here are ten things everyone should have on their list.

1. Do something you are afraid of.

Whether you don't like heights, sharks or rollercoasters, take a chance. Sometimes you don't like something because you have never tried it. Other times it is because of one bad experience, don't let one instance of fear keep you from enjoying life.

2. Do something unusual.

What might seem crazy or disgusting to you is normal for someone else, so get out of your comfort zone and try something new. You never know, you might love eating grasshoppers.

3. Do something daring.

Jump up off a cliff into a lake. Lay down in the middle of the street at midnight. Do something crazy, just be safe. Being brave and adventurous can be rewarding, don't get too caught up in your concerns.

4. Do something for someone else.

I don't just mean any old something, do something extravagant. Show someone how much you care, how much you love them. Go all out for that special someone. I'm talking horse drawn carriages, create something original or paint a billboard for them.

5. Do something wild.

Get hammered and go to a tattoo parlor and have a stranger pick out the design for your ink - no regrats. Go skinny dipping or go streaking. Be that person at least once in your life.

6. Do something you think only happens in books.

Fall in love, no matter the outcome. Go on a picnic under the stars. Solve a mystery. Believe in magic or a hidden world. Whatever type of book you love, take a chance and try it for yourself. Maybe you aren't a reader, give writing a try.

7. Go on a journey.

Travel to a new place. Visit all of the monuments in the 50 states or go on a safari ride in Africa. If it is a road trip across the U.S. with friends or a solo backpacking trip through the Himalayas. Everyone wants to travel on some level, but few act on that desire - don't be that person.

8. Befriend a stranger.

You can always find something in common with someone you don't know. Learning more about someone else is a great way to learn more about yourself. You might meet someone unexpected, would you really want to miss out on an unforgettable interaction?

9. Get involved with something bigger than yourself.

Volunteer for an organization that changes lives. Build a school or a well in a town that needs help. Take part in a protest for something you believe in. Donate to a charity for animals or people. Take action for something you believe in, whatever it is.

10. Find your thing.

Are you all about spots? All about the outdoors? All about art? Try everything until you find the one thing that you love and never let it go. Maybe this goes against making a list, but if you aren't sure try it. You don't loose anything by trying, but you risk everything by not trying at all.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
