1. What do I watch next?
Everyone knows that finishing your show on Netflix is a struggle. The worst part afterwards is finding a new one -- it's almost impossible. Everyone tries to find a new one, but how do you find the perfect one? There are too many boring ones, episodes that are too long, and ones that are just pointless. It is almost as if that one show is just irreplaceable.
2. I finished that in less than a month. Do I have a problem?
Everyone has an addiction, mine just happens to be Netflix. Many people are addiction to this wonderful invention. This first step to getting over this addiction is acceptance. Who am I kidding? This is an addiction that will never go away.
3. Show Withdrawals
So I just finished my show, and I just am feeling sad, stressed, overwhelmed, and moody. Well, yes I guess I am showing some withdrawals. This show was my life, I never noticed it. I felt as if these characters are part of me; they were my family. I miss them.
4. What do I do with my life now?
Since that show was all my life, I guess now that it's gone I will do my homework. But, we all know my homework is probably still not going to happen. We can always be hopeful.
5. How do I procrastinate now?
That show was my go to, what do I instead of homework now? Go for a run? No way! You know what I'll take a nap for the third time today. Yes perfect idea!
6. I have to be social now?
What is the real world? There are other people besides my character family? I didn't know that. Well, I guess I have to be social now. OR I could just take another nap! Yes, another great idea.
7. Maybe I'll just watch a movie?
I ALWAYS go to a movie after a movie, when I am just not ready to move onto a new show. Disney movies are the best go to. But, maybe eventually I will move on.
8. Is it bad if I re-watch said show?
Now this will just validate my addiction. But, my show was just so good, I think it will be okay to watch it again. My show was just so good, it is always okay to stay with the comfortable things I enjoy.
9. So what is the normal time to go to bed?
We all stay up late binge watching our shows. I personally have a record of 6 am. But, now that I am done with it, what time do I go to bed? 10? 11? 12? Honestly, it's so awful to figure out how to cope with this struggle.
10. The transition from your love of your life to your rebound.
It is so hard to move on from a broken heart. A broken heart from a show is the worst. How does one move on?! It is almost impossible. Sometimes, the best thing to do when you are struggling, is to move on. That is what everyone has to do, but it is for the best.
