For many, the start of Fall means a new semester of classes, rainy weather, and the return of the Pumpkin Spiced Latte at Starbucks. But for television fans like me, the start of Fall translates to TV premiere season, with new and old shows finally starting up again.
If your old shows aren't enough to keep you satisfied, here are some new ones that can help fill the void!
"American Horror Story: Hotel" (Oct. 7, FX)
The third installment of the series, creator Ryan Murphy decided to set this usually spooky and thrilling show in a hotel. The story follows a detective working on a murder case, which leads him to the mysterious Hotel Cortez. Notable stars include pop singer Lady Gaga as the hotel's owner, as well as returners from past seasons such as Evan Peters and Sarah Paulson.
"The Bastard Executioner" (Sept. 15, FX)
Created by Kurt Sutter (the same guy that made "Sons of Anarchy") this historical drama takes place in the 14th century during the reign of British monarch King Edward I. It follows a knight of the King's guard who is affected by the wars that he's been apart of.
"Scream Queens" (Sept. 22, Fox)
This is Ryan Murphy's second show slated to come out this fall, and it follows a sorority who somehow gets involved in a 20 year old murder mystery. The cast for this show include some heavy hitters, including Emma Roberts, Lea Michelle, and Keke Palmer. Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas are scheduled to appear as guest stars as well.
"Limitless" (Sept. 22, CBS)

"The Muppets" (Sept. 22, ABC)
America's favorite puppets are back on television with a new 30 minute show that's sort of a play on a mockumentary. It seems to be a show about a show, as it will depict the Muppets during the production of "Up Late with Miss Piggy." The first episode is expected to have guest stars Elisabeth Banks and Topher Grace, and other episodes will have various guest stars as well.
"Heroes Reborn" (Sept. 24, NBC)
"Heroes" fans, rejoice! This miniseries is a continuation of the original and will follow a new breed of super humans as they come to terms with their new abilities. Stars from the first show such as Jack Coleman and Masi Oka are expected to make appearances, while Zachary Levi will be a newcomer to the show.
"Supergirl" (Oct. 26, CBS)
CBS is finally joining the superhero band wagon with their new show "Supergirl." The show follows Kara who must learn to embrace her powers after being taught to hide them for so long by her human family, the Daverns.
"Blindspot" (Sept. 21, NBC)
This crime drama focuses on a woman who loses all her money and has her body fully covered in tattoos. It turns out that each of her tattoos serve as clues to cases that the FBI must solve.
"Quantico" (Sept. 27, ABC)
Being described as a Shonda Rhimes (creator of Scandal and Grey's Anatomy) show that Shonda Rhimes didn't event ouch, this crime drama is about a group of FBI trainees who are on their way to earning the badge. It is revealed, however, that one of these trainees is actually planning the next major terrorist attack.
"Crazy Ex Girlfriend" (Oct. 12, CW)
This musical comed- drama show follows a young woman, Rebecca Bunch, who decides to pursue her high school ex- boyfriend, Josh, that dumped her ten years ago. She goes as far as leaving her life in New York City to follow him as she believes that he is her soulmate.
