As someone who has been told, "All you do is yoga" or "Wow, you really love yoga don't you?" I am one hundred percent here to say that I have come to realize yoga is my life, and so for all of those out there who might be unsure or those of you who already know your mat is like another limb this list is for you.

1. Your wardrobe consists of yoga clothes and that one outfit for nice events.

Whether it's Lululemon, Gap or Athleta, your closet seems to have a distinct lack of anything denim or formal. Your friends have begun to notice you recycle the same two outfits for nights out. However, that isn't an issue for you because you'd much rather be in your yoga pants anyway.

2. You spend money on yoga conferences and retreats rather than concerts or vacations.

While other people are saving up to get tickets to see Beyoncé, your spare change jar is for that awesome training, conference or workshop coming up. A gathering of cool yoga people sounds way more exciting than standing in a stuffy crowd for the night.

3. The phrase "just breathe" is said multiple times throughout your day.

A big part of your yoga practice is breathing and this seems to make its way into every part of your day. You find yourself not only telling other people to breathe but yourself as well, as a mantra in any sort of situation.

4. You're pretty sure that you've done so many Chaturangas you're doing them in your sleep.

If there is one thing you can't seem to escape it's that Chaturanga. Love it or hate it, you're pretty sure even if you were asleep if you heard Chaturanga called out, you'd be in a low plank in a heartbeat.

5. The first thing you look up when you go on vacation is how close the nearest yoga studio is.

Obviously, you have to plan all of your other activities around this new class schedule. All your friends and family know that if you're going on vacation with them you will be either dragging them along or ditching them for some much-needed yoga classes.

6. When you spot other yogis, they're automatically your people.

The moment you spot someone toting a yoga mat, or getting into a pose, you feel compelled to go over and talk to them about yoga. Because obviously, yoga people are the best people and who wouldn't want to make a new friend?

7. It's impossible for you to go anywhere without taking at least one yoga pose picture.

People can make fun of you all they want, but while they're stuck smiling with their hands on their hips in every picture, you've got a plethora of Instagram worthy options available to you.

8. You have made all of your friends go with you to class at least once.

Whether you bribed them with drinks afterward or you pulled the friend card, no one you know has been able to get out of "just trying it once". While you know that some of your friends will never go back again at least you were able to find some solid yoga partners.

9. Your "cool party trick" is showing off the crazy cool yoga poses that you can do.

You can pretty easily become the life of the party when your cool party trick involves showing off the awesome things you can do or hilariously getting drunk people into yoga poses.

10. You're currently reading this on your way into the studio.

Because let's be real: when are you not at the studio?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
