Everybody has that one celebrity that they would drop everything in their life for, right? Like, I’m pretty sure that most girls my age dream about Ryan Gosling proposing to them? Or is it Ryan Reynolds? Anyways, Tim Tebow has had a big piece of my heart since I was in the seventh grade, and most people simply do not understand why. So, to those people who don't understand my affections for the man, here are 10 reasons why Tim Tebow should be the first on everyone's list to marry.

1. He loves Jesus.

This is a biggie! I’m sure everybody knows about his pledge to remain abstinent (which is, in my book, totally swoon-worthy), but everybody misses the bigger picture. What’s more attractive to a man than a pure heart for the Lord? He’s not afraid to share his faith, and he’s not afraid to show how much he loves Jesus. Any man that can put in that kind of commitment for his faith, can definitely commit to a relationship with you, which is what we're all after, am I right ladies?

2. He’s easy on the eyes.

You’ve all seen him. His gorgeous blue eyes do enough of the talking. Not to mention the broad shoulders and muscular bod from his days on the football field.

3. He’s passionate.

From the game of football to his love for the Lord, Tim Tebow definitely does not lack passion in any way. He puts his heart into everything he does, and that’s (I think) his most admirable quality.

4. He respects women.

His pledge to remain abstinent speaks enough about his respect for himself, but it also speaks of how highly he already respects his future wife. Plus, he grew up with older sisters, so he also understands that women are capable of doing anything a man can do.

5. He’s got a giving heart.

His family started an orphanage in the Philippines, and he now has his own charity, the Tim Tebow Foundation. As if that wasn’t enough, once a year, he hosts a prom night for kids with special needs. Be still, my heart. And, currently, he’s teamed up with Mike Holmes (from HGTV) to host a show called “Home Free.” It’s a competition where people win free homes for their heroes. Totally sweet.

6. He’s most definitely not scraping by.

Money isn’t everything, but that’s something only rich people can say. Tim Tebow spent almost three years in the NFL, and now he works for ESPN’s SEC Network as a sports analyst. Needless to say, I don’t think he’s hurting to make ends meet.

7. He’s got skills.

Speaking of his short-lived football career, Tim Tebow was the first sophomore to ever win the Heisman Trophy, which -- if you don’t know anything about college football -- is a huge deal. He also lead the Florida Gators to two National Championship titles, in 2006 and 2008.

8. He’s family-oriented.

As if I wasn’t already head over heels for him, Tim Tebow has to be the world’s greatest uncle and godfather. His nieces and nephews are very lucky to have him watch over them. Being the youngest of five, Tim has a big family, to match his big heart.

9. He’s humble.

Throughout all his victories through football and his own personal life, Tim Tebow has never taken credit for any of it. He’s given all the glory to God, which is amazing and inspiring at the same time.

10. He doesn’t quit.

He got cut from the NFL after a very short professional career, but he’s determined to one-day play football professionally again. And I honestly can’t wait for it to happen.

So, girls, when it comes time to find a husband, make sure he’s everything like Tim Tebow. You’ll be doing yourself a favor.

P.S. Tim, if you're reading this, will you be my date to Formal?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
