It's Sunday night and you're snuggled up on the couch watching reruns of your favorite show, while eating your favorite kind of ice cream, right out of the pint. You're loving life. Until you remember what this means. That tomorrow is Monday and your life is inevitably going to get a lot worse when your alarm wakes you up in less than 8 hours. Well, what if I told you that there's many reasons to stop feeling so negatively about Mondays? Here's ten!

1. You have a clean slate.

Whatever regrets you have from the weekend, say goodbye to them all! The shopping trip to the mall that cost you a little too much of your paycheck? Or the extra indulgent piece of cake you ate at your little cousin's birthday party? Monday is the start of a new week, so take advantage of it!

2. Great opportunity to find your motivation again.

Get up, get moving, and do whatever it is that motivates you to have the best week yet!

3. Perfect time to set new goals.

Been wanting to try something new? Or maybe even stop a bad habit you can't seem to break? Monday is your day to get on track with reaching your goals!

4. You have a whole week to accomplish what you want to get done.

Don't let all of the week's mundane tasks get you down. You have five beautiful days to do everything you need to get done before the weekend, from paying bills and washing the dog, to scrubbing the bathroom tile and pulling weeds in the garden.

5. A killer workout to start your week will leave you feeling invincible.

One of the greatest things you can do for yourself at the beginning of the week is get active. It's great to see what amazing things your body can do when you push yourself!

6. Coffee tastes best on Monday mornings.

Grabbing your favorite go-to drink from Starbucks on the way to work or class has never tasted so good.

7. All of the best tv shows are on.

The Bachelor is all I've got to say about this one.

8. Great day to start planning for next weekend's adventures!

If last weekend's plans weren't as exhilarating as you had hoped they'd be, start making plans for this weekend that will go beyond your expectations!

9. The idea of hating Mondays is only an illusion.

Monday is just another day! It's crazy to live life hating 1/7 of it. Change your attitude!

10. It's a beautiful day to be you!

Be happy to be living and grateful that you get to experience such a wonderful day!

Happy Monday! It's a great day to celebrate!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
