There are so many reasons why I love Utah State University, from the football games to True Aggie Night every month. Here are the top 10 reasons why I'm excited that we have less than a month until school starts again.
1. Football Games.
Who doesn't get excited at the thought of football? Whether or not you actually go to USU, our student section will literally knock your socks off.
2. True Aggie Night.
Going to True Aggie Night is a tradition that you have to experience. Even if you're not kissing that special someone (or that random person you just met), going to watch people get kissed on the "A" is definitely something special.
3. Aggie Ice Cream.
Because who doesn't want the best ice cream in the state of Utah?
4. PoBev.
This is something that is pretty special to USU, because you can literally go watch people sing or speak poetry, while also getting a free beverage. Chill and free food? I think yes.
5. The HOWL.
The biggest party in all of Utah on Halloween. Dress up with friends, dance your butts off, and wear something outrageous that no one will even bat an eye at.
6. Week of Welcome.
You cannot go wrong participating in this week. From a muddy slip n' slide down Old Main to Day on the Quad, it is not something that you want to miss.
7. Sorority and Fraternity Recruitment.
This is a week to find some people that you or may not get along with. I'm seriously excited to see what it's like from the other side this year.
8. Los Primos Tacos.
Nothing to do on a Wednesday? Go to Los Primos for 50 cent tacos. You will not regret this.
9. Just being in Logan.
They say home is where your heart is, and that must be true because my heart is definitely in Logan, Utah. I cannot wait to get back.
10. Seeing all of my friends.
Seeing all of the people that I haven't seen all summer because we are all so well cultured that we are off doing amazing things is going to be amazing.
Seriously people, college is where you find yourself, and you find your people. Take advantage of everything that is offered, do everything you can. Put yourself out there and you will reap the rewards.
