Whether you're a freshman that made it through your first year of college, or a senior counting down the final days until graduation, you have a reason to celebrate.

Here are 10 end-of-semester reminders to keep in mind as you finish up your final weeks of the spring semester.

1. Stressed Out

Regardless of what year you are, it is extremely easy to be overcome with stress in the final weeks of Spring Semester. Being stressed out every once in a while is normal, but if you find yourself getting overwhelmed constantly, remember that things that seem important now won't matter in a few weeks. Try as hard as you can to not sweat the small stuff.

2. Mr. Know it All

When finals are approaching it's easy to doubt yourself and feel the need to cram a semester's worth of learning into one night. What many students don't realize is you know more than you think you do. Even if you learned something subconsciously, you will be fine when finals week arrives. You got this.

3. TLC

College students go through a lot. With classes, extracurriculars, work, etc, it's easy to forget to reward yourself for all you do! Before the year ends, treat yourself to something that makes you truly happy. Whether it's going out for an ice cream, or just taking time to relax with friends, make sure you make time for you and treat yo self. You deserve it!

4. Reflection

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in all we do, we forget to reflect on what we did, the good, the bad, and more importantly, how to learn from it. Did you step out of your comfort zone and join Dance Club? Or maybe you surpassed your expectations in some way. Whatever you did, you can learn from the past experiences and be proud of your accomplishments.

5. Breathe

As self-explanatory as this one may seem, savoring a few moments to take some deep breaths can make a huge difference in your day... and stress level. Next time your stressing out. Breathe in deeply for three... than out for three...and repeat. I guarantee you will be more relaxed.

6. Food, Glorious Food!

With finals week also comes Finals Frenzy Week, AKA, free food to reward hungry and stressed out college students. At the end of each semester, different organizations on campus situate themselves in the Hammond Building and hand out free food. This ranges from a nacho bar and chipwiches to stress reliever goodie bags. Be sure to check your student email soon for the latest Final Frenzy Schedule!

7. Keep Holding On

Whether you're suffering from senioritis or are just plain tired, the end is near! It's easy to fall into wanting to check out from classes, but your extra effort will make all the difference. "Pain is temporary, but GPA is forever."

8. With a Little Help From My friends

I can't count the number of times my friends have helped me out or saved me from a mental breakdown during Finals week. Since we are all students, we all are going through the same situations. Next time you're stressed or freaking out about finals, know that your friends who have been there for you all semester are still there for you now.

9. Graduation

This one goes out to all my friends that are graduating. Through all your hard work, tears, and perseverance, you finally made it and will soon be receiving your diploma in front of all your colleagues and loved ones. Be proud of all your accomplishments and know that you earned this. To other students that are close with graduating seniors, remember to bring tissues.

10. The Rest is Still Unwritten

Your future is what you make of it. Whether you're starting a new chapter as a college graduate, or are continuing your journey as a student, the world is your oyster. Make the most of your summer and know that wherever your life takes you, it isn't the end, it's just a new beginning.
"Today is where your book begins, the rest is still unwritten."

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
