It is a gorgeous day outside, the sun is shining, the birds are singing and it is Friday … Oh no it's Friday, and I haven't even started my Odyssey article. If you weren’t panicking before it might be a good time to start. Maybe you have been that really awesome over-achiever and written five stories in advance, but let’s be honest … you didn’t and now you are in the same position I am. A few hours till the deadline and you have about three sentences written. Let the writing begin … and the odds be ever in your favor.

1. Finish your article.

You have finally finished your article for the week and are constantly checking your email for the notification that a little bit of your insanity will be shared with the rest of the millennial world, but only in brief few days you will be writing another masterpiece.

2. Get pumped to write your next article.

If you are anything like me, you may have started a long list of possible topics from your every day experiences kept in a separate file and taking up valuable space on your smartphone. You have the power to write just about anything your little heart desires!

3. Hate every topic.

You have no idea what to write about for your next award winning article and now your trusty list has only reminded you why you never snack after the hours of 11 p.m. because your idea topics are just terrible.

4. Watch an episode of your current favorite Netflix show.

Well, you have about four hours to figure out and write your next Odyssey article, I guess the best inspiration just may come from your most beloved show.

5. Eat a snack.

Everyone great writer needs brain food! I still haven’t found the quotes from Shakespeare or J.K. Rowling that say eating is the best inspiration for writing, but when I do I’m sure it would be a great next Odyssey article!

6. Annoy every family member and friend for an interesting topic.

I think I have been banned from the dinner table multiple times for the numerous bothersome questions for inspiration for innovative Odyssey article topics.

7. Open your computer.

There is no other way to avoid crafting another article. Jump-starting your computer and clicking your way through the web to get the top trending topics of the day you may end up spending a little too much time looking at funny cat videos … I’ve never seen Nyan cat ten-hour edition!

8. Remember the topic you had been saving for weeks.

The Internet was nothing but useless cat videos and talk about Hilary, but then you remembered that topic you had secretly stashed away in an encrypted text to your best friend a few weeks ago!

9. Start your article.

You struggle through a few rough drafts, have to look up cute puppy pictures to keep motivated and finally, your work of art is ready to be edited! The perfect cover picture, the best tags and a killer social media status and you send your article off into cyberspace.

10. Finally, repeat steps 1-10 for your entire Odyssey career.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
