1. If you don't like the Cape, then something is wrong.
Every summer since I was a little kid, my parents would take me and my sister to the cape where we’d bake on Nauset beach, see Province town, golf on pirates cove, and visit friends who lives in Yarmouth and Barnstable. As a New England baby, I, as well as a plethora of other kids, spent time on the cape and islands, and other vacation spots in Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire.
2. Boston is the hub of the universe
The strongest city in all of the United States, as well as my home, Boston is a resilient city in it’s own right, and arguable the best city in the world. It is the education capital of the world and is home to many of the nation's finest colleges, as well as the nation’s first public school district. All New Englanders at some point in their lives had visited the Massachusetts capital for either trying to fly from Logan, a day visit, or even a full out vacation. They leave wanting to come back for more.
3. Everyone runs on and runs to Dunkins
Who needs Starbucks? I love that dirty coffee just like I love that dirty water. There is also one on every street corner, and around every block. Some are definitely better than others, but if you are desperate for coffee before work or some early morning classes, it’s a true lifesaver.
4. The Phantom Gourmet is the best place to find food reviews
Yelp is no match for the awesome power of the Phantom. Whenever you step into a restaurant and it has the official sticker of the Phantom Gourmet’s purple logo, you know for a fact you’re about to experience food paradise!
