5 Things To Do For Your Mom Who Deserves The World

Mother's Day is quickly approaching and we are searching for things to do for our moms or our lovely ladies in our lives. They deserve the world on a silver platter or a magnificent gift but if you're a struggling college student like me then these ten ideas should get you somewhere!

1. Breakfast in bed

Yes, this one is classic but who doesn't like food? Better yet, who doesn't like waking up to a full breakfast? I would love to wake up to some steaming pancakes and some sausage! Try this one out for your momma!

2. A card and a stuffed animal

It seems pretty plain and lame but a meaningful card goes a long way! Get a cute card and thank your momma for all she does and tell her how much you love her! Then, find a cute stuffed animal like a little bear or something along those lines! She will love it!

3. A mom cup

A lot of places have mom cups and they are so cute! Some have hearts, flowers, and even other designs! I'm sure your mom will be excited to use it and show it off!

4. Quality time

Go to the store, pick up some ice cream, get home, and throw on a movie! Sit and watch the movie and just be happy! That can sometimes mean more than buying someone something!

5. Write a lovely note

Take a few pieces of paper and write your momma a nice, meaningful note! Tell her exactly how you feel besides the fact that she pushes your buttons 99% of the time but like I'm sure you push hers too!

I love you. I love you so much and I'm very thankful that I have you in my life. What would I do without you? You are my heart and soul and I'm beyond grateful to God that he put you in my life. Thank you for not staying mad at me for long when I tick you off. I know that you will always love me no matter what. Thank you for being the very best mom that you can be. I love you lots.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time.
