My generation strives on the feeling of nostalgia -- how else do you explain "Fuller House" and the revival of "Gilmore Girls"? With steaming stations like Pandora and Spotify, it’s easy to pull yourself into another decade and get lost in the music that makes you remember simpler times. Personally, I love looking back at the Top 40s from when I was in elementary and middle school. It’s funny to look back at the popular songs that use to constantly replay on our MP3s. From the '90s all the way to the early 2000s, these are only some of the songs guaranteed to make you feel the feels!
1. "Wannabe" -- Spice Girls
2. "Bye Bye Bye" -- N Sync
3. "All the Small Things" -- Blink 182
The teen angst was so real.4. "All Star" -- Smash Mouth
You can't help but sing along to this song whenever it comes on -- usually in the grocery store.5. "Get the Party Started" -- P!nk
Even though I was too young to have a full appreciation for the lyrics she's singing, this woman single-handedly taught me the meaning of Girl Power.
6. "Lip Gloss" -- Lil Mama
Every single kid ran to the dance floor when this song came on during a middle school dance.
7. "Thanks Fr th Mmrs" -- Fall Out Boy
I think it's safe to stay this song fueled every delinquent action my generation may have committed as a young teenager.
8. "Learn to Fly" -- Foo Fighters
This song, like Dave Grohl's looks, has only gotten better over time.
9. "Semi-Charmed Life" -- Third Eye Blind
Surprisingly, there wasn't a good picture of the music video, but this is basically everyone who hears the first few chords of the song running to their friends -- guaranteed.
10. "Hollaback Girl" -- Gwen Stefani
Did anyone else aspire to have her abs?
11. "Gives You Hell" -- All American Rejects
