So you go to SUNY Cortland? SUNY Long Island, SUNY SportLand, CandyLand; however you refer to it, you know the ins and outs by now. From dorm life, to dinning halls and night life...here are 30 things that are inevitable about your college experience when you go to Cortland.

1. You know where to get .25 cent taco's every Monday.

That's four tacos for $1. As broke college kids, can that be any more melodic to our ears?

2. Your dark horse tee is your go-to shirt to throw on for class, letting everyone know that, yes, you did survive and actually finish a T-shirt.

"We live for the night we won't remember, with the people we won't forget."

3. After a T-shirt, you feel like you got hit by a truck the next morning.

4. You have at least eight friends that are from Long Island.

SUNY Long Island?

5. You know who Mr. Bill is...

And he's definitely been featured in a snapchat of yours before.

6. You make sure to try and use the cross-walk so that the crossing-guard lady doesn't yell at you.

7. You get more excited for Thursdays than you do for Fridays.

MIXER THURSDAY! EVERY THURSDAY IS HALLOWEEN!!!

8. You've definitely stolen someone else's taxi before.

9. You hate Ithaca, but still go there for Chipotle, Panera, and the Gorges.

10. When it takes you an hour to get into the dinning hall because your hand won't scan.

11. When you've lied about losing your Cortland ID before, so you can get another free one.

Whose gonna spend $15 on a new Student ID?

12. When you wish that they would bring back Veggie Patch, Friendlies and Dixie Chix.

13. When you go to the dinning hall and halfway through your meal you already have to use the bathroom.

"Neubig or Poobig?"

14. You get overly excited over yellow poker chips.

TWOFERS!

15. You wish that they could sell Coffee Mania on campus.

16. You spend all your Dragon Dollars at Hilltop and BookMark.

17. You've fallen down the stairs at Horse at least once.

18. You rode the bull at Beer Goggles.

RIP Beer Goggles, you are greatly missed by Cstate.

19. You always end up at Pizza & More, Calios or Frank & Mary's after a night out.

Cold white slice, Buff chicken calzone, or some pancakes to top off the night.

20. There's nothing better than Long Island Bagel or a Neubig omelet on a Sunday morning.

21. You've ate more than your weight in Bistro cookies.

They're so soft and warm it's impossible to just eat one.

22. You bundle up to walk to class and then by the time you get there you're dripping sweat.

23. You've ran to catch the bus, just for it to leave without you.

24. You used to dread having to walk all the way to 281 to get your car.

Freshmen strugs.

25. You've developed some pretty impressive calves from walking up Clayton and James.

Definitely counts as sufficient exercise for the day.

26. You believe that Cortaca should be recognized as a holiday.

I mean, come on, we win every year, so we definitely should deserve a holiday by now.

27. When you're utterly disappointed if it isn't Chicken Parm or Wing night.

28. The elevators are always broken.

29. You get 15-plus emails a day.

30. More than half of the school is an athlete so the gym is always packed.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
