Never put yourself down -
Don't let your insecurities eat your soul.

So cherish every single moment of your life

If you are reading this, it means that you are here to learn some very important advice from someone who has been in your shoes and yet still walking down the road. I have faced many trials in this world, and you are going through them now.

"All you gotta do is be strong and know that everything is going to be okay. I'm here for you, and I will always be here when you need someone to cling onto." - yourself

Don't take this personal but it's something that I've learned. People will talk about you like they know you when they really don't even know you, but they think that they do. They might even talk bad about you to your closet friend to make sure you don't have a friend to run to in your darkest times. It's the things I've learned about people.

"Sometimes we are the worst bullies to ourselves than we think we are."
- Rebecca Lynn

Take note, when everyone else is calling you crazy. Know that you are not crazy, you are only human and, yes, we all have problems too. Most of us are going through more than one problem in this world. We all can't be perfect because none of us are. We all have flaws, we all make mistakes, we all have something wrong with us, but God loves us all the same.

If you are anything like me, then you probably have a song you listen to when you feel the way that I do. The one song that I really like that I can relate to so well is Taylor Swift's new song This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things also known as Track 13 on her latest album Reputation. I only brought up the song because I can relate to it at the moment.

But I'll say this again because my high school teacher told me that repetition is key. Don't put yourself down, you are better than those people who have put you down in the past; but you gotta move on from there because you don't live there anymore.

I wrote this poem a few days ago because we are only human and we do make mistakes. I made a lot of mistakes in my life that I wish I could undo, but I can't. But don't continue to put yourself down anymore, you are stronger than you were before.

"What is done is done. It can not be undone."
- Lady MacBeth

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
