He spent his entire life crafting a reputation as one of the best soccer players in the world. By dedicating endless hours to master his skill, he effortlessly entertains millions of awestruck supporters. His unmistakable yearning for personal growth and success remains second to none. With ambitions that seemed to question his better judgment, he persisted in showcasing his exceptional talents on and off the pitch. He began as an innocent boy looking for an avenue to triumph. Throughout his tireless years as an athlete and role model, Lionel Messi transformed an unlikely dream into an impressive reality.

Lionel Messi is considered one of soccer's most elite individuals. Millions marvel at his lighting speed and agility against the opposition. His nimble feet and ingenious awareness on the pitch enables him to maneuver around the hesitant defenders. He commands respect through these distinctive abilities and humble character. Unlike many current athletes, Messi refrains from the irritating display of flopping and other soccer theatrics. His remarkable talents and maturity during each match illustrates his profound leadership qualities. No matter the level of competition or particular opponent, Messi remains one of the most poised individuals to play the game.

Despite his physical toughness and unsurpassed technical ability, Lionel Messi fails to lead his national team to a major title. For all his triumph in Barcelona, "La Pulga" desperately craves victory as Argentina's distinguished captain. Although he ushered his team into the final of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and was named player of the tournament, Messi was unable to defeat Germany and surrendered yet another opportunity toward a major accomplishment. In 2016, following Argentina's second consecutive loss to Chile in the final of the Copa America tournament, Lionel Messi announced his retirement from international play. With an inability to lead his national team to the same success as his superstar Spanish club, Messi's dream of international success has yet to be fulfilled.

Nevertheless, Lionel Messi's name will never be forgotten. He has either broken or achieved almost every record imaginable. His astounding physical and mental toughness continues to amaze countless crowds that pour in from every country. He is recognized as potentially the best soccer player in the world. From a small boy living in the heart of Rosario, Argentina, to a slightly taller man captivating the hearts and minds of avid supporters worldwide, Messi deserves more than just another trophy on his vast shelf of hardware. With increasing confidence, the world waits in anxious anticipation for the day that soccer's illustrious magician finally raises a major trophy. Here's to the man who transformed the beautiful game into an even more beautiful display of talent and steadfast determination.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
