In case you missed Game 1, here's a quick recap. Aces Dallas Keuchel and Clayton Kershaw squared off in the series opener, one that did not disappoint. The game opened scoreless in the top of the first, before Chris Taylor led off the Dodgers' series with a first-pitch homer. That's the second straight World Series game with a leadoff homer, going back to Game 7 of the World Series last year, when Dexter Fowler hit a homer on the first pitch.
The Astros fought right back, with Alex Bregman hitting a shocking solo shot off Clayton Kershaw.
But then, Justin Turner blew the game wide open, with a two-run shot that knocked Keuchel out of the game. The only offense in this game consisted of longballs.
And who better than Kershaw to make the productive Houston offense look bad. He recorded 11 strikeouts, in a World Series game.
And with Kenley Jansen to close the door, the Dodgers get a head start in the series.
