What Could You Do If You Win The Powerball Jackpot?

It’s no secret that the United States has been overcome with Powerball hype in the past few days. As the jackpot has climbed to a staggering $1.3 billion and counting, everyone seems to be trying their luck at the lottery. While the chances of winning are incredibly low (there’s a better chance that you will become president), most people feel that with this much on the line, there’s no choice but to test your luck. Here are 50 things you could do if you win the lottery on Wednesday.

1. Donate a large sum of money to a cause you care about.

2. Donate even more money to a few more causes. This is probably the only way you can avoid being robbed.

3. Hire security so you can protect yourself from being robbed and/or murdered and also look cool.

4. Give $1 to all 1.3 billion of your closest friends.

5. Buy 261,044,176 people a 12-pack of Nature Valley Crunchy Oats N’ Honey Granola Bars.

6. Pay for your education, as well as your families.

7. Buy a sports franchise.

8. Stack $1 billion bills all the way into space. (If stacked, one billion dollar bills would be 67.9 miles tall. Space is said to start about 62 miles above sea level.)

9. Take all of the trips you have on your bucket list.

10. Buy 50 of the most expensive Rolex’s (even though they only made 12) and wear them all at the same time.

11. Rent out space in the Palace of Versailles, buy a bunch of mattresses and channel your inner "Princess Diaries."

12. Buy a superyacht. Recreate the "Boats and Hoes" music video.

13. Produce and market a major studio movie. Put yourself in as an extra, if not the lead.

14. Tip your waiter or waitress $500 on a small bill.

15. Buy a $100 McDonald’s gift card for each of the 59,929 homeless people living in New York City.

16. Buy any airplane on the market.

17. As well as any car.

18. Since you may choose not to work, spend your days friending every user on Facebook. There are over one billion members, so it’s like a friend per dollar!

19. Build your ideal wardrobe.

20. Only drink Apple Ciroc. #blessup

21. Fund cleft palate surgery for 5,416,666 of the 2 billion people who do not have access to surgical care.

22. Host a personal Justin Bieber concert. Pay him extra to play through his entire first album.

23. Pay for four months of war.

24. Get Kendall Jenner a Ferrari 458 Spider so she doesn’t feel left out. (Even though the car that Tyga “bought” Kylie was apparently leased.)

25. Come up with an idea and hire scientists and engineers to help you bring it to life.

26. Buy a Tesla. You’ll save so much gas money, even though that will be the last thing you’re worried about.

27. Rent out a resort in Aspen on New Year’s Eve and recreate "High School Musical."

28. Or rent out the Colosseum and recreate "The Lizzie McGuire Movie."

29. Purchase or build your dream home.

30. Hire a personal chef.

31. And then a personal trainer.

32. Endorse an Olympic athlete.

33. Buy your own private island.

34. Fill multiple dump trucks with jellybeans and bring them to the top of a hill. Pour them all down the hill, creating a jellybean river, and kayak down it.

35. Pay to be the person on stage at award shows who walks celebrities off stage.

36. Pizza Hut just released their line of merchandise, “Hut Swag.” You could buy 26 million pairs of their Tribal Pizza Leggings. You’ll never have to go shopping again.

37. Pick up a new hobby, maybe an expensive one like wingsuit flying (otherwise known as squirrel suit flying).

38. Host an extravagant fundraiser for your favorite cause, complete with celebrity guests.

39. Somehow make a cloud out of cotton candy and rent a crane to hang it from. Sit on it all day and wave at all the people staring at you from the ground.

40. Walk into a high school and give every student a college scholarship.

41. Purchase an island home.

42. Purchase a mountain house to balance it out.

43. Sponsor a competition based around the game Fruit Ninja, and offer a $500,000 prize to the person who can chop the most flying fruit in real life.

44. Open a roller skating rink that is strictly used for Heelys.

45. Buy a ton of Dawn dish soap and spend time volunteering by cleaning off baby penguins that are covered in oil.

46. Take a trip to space.

47. Buy one million bed nets for families in regions that malaria impacts the most.

48. Acquire the naming rights to a major stadium.

49. Star in your own music video.

50. And of course, you could always invest your money wisely.

You could pull off many of these ideas and still have money to spare. And all of them would be amazing. Best of luck this week! To the winner, please do something crazy so the rest of us are not too bitter.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
