The struggles and stresses have finally come to an end. Finals have come and gone. The hours of study and perpetration time put in by every college student around the country prove to be worth it. Final grades are released. GPA's go up and down. Dorms get emptied out. This all marks the start of what every student has been anticipating. Winter Break is finally here. No more waking up early for classes we have no interest in. No more dining hall food. No more stress. Winter break marks the time of stress free living. College students have nothing to worry about. Winter break is the time for all us college students to just relax, hangout with friends and family, and just enjoy a month of home time. There is a couple things that are really looked forward to when winter break starts. One of those things is sleeping in the comfort of your own bed in your own room in your own house. No longer having to share a room with your roommate, whether you like them or not, is always a great feeling. A month of your own bed, in your own room, not having to worry about over stepping a boundary or sharing/not sharing everything. A month of not having to share a bathroom with people other than your family. A month of home cooked meals. A month of living in your house is what winter break means to college student. Obviously most college students come home for winter break which means that all the friends you may have are also home. This in my opinion is in some cases the thing most looked forward to. The countdown to seeing all your friends from home is finally over. It is like your are in high school again. Worry free days and nights spent with the friends you have had your whole life. It's a time to enjoy the presence of friends you do not get to spend much time with during the school year. Everyone has friends at whatever school they go to, but nothing beats the hometown people and friendship. There is a lot of fun things to do during winter break, and the best part of it is being home and being able to do these things with friends and family. Whether it is ice skating or going around to look at Christmas decoration along with all the other countless things there is to do during the holidays, it is all better to college students cause it is during winter break. College students everywhere anticipate winter break. It is a month of stress free living. It is a month full of freedom. It is a month of being home with friends and family. It is a month of fun and relaxation. It Is Winter break and it is finally here.
