Let's face it: you want to win.

The ending of a relationship can be hard, and it often requires large quantities of romantic movies, ice cream, and tears. But there is also inevitable competition. It doesn't matter who broke up with who, whether you're still friendly towards each other or you're plotting each other's demise. What matters is who's doing better afterward.

1. You delete their number from your phone

You don't need it anymore.

2. You started working out more.

Sure, you went through the Ben & Jerry's, crying while watching The Notebook faze. Now you're done with that (okay maybe not, but at least you're not doing it all the time). You're hitting the gym to work out all that anger and sadness. And, you're getting a revenge body out of it. You're done feeling sad over the breakup, and you're starting to feel good about yourself, inside and out.

3. Your life is going well.

Whether it's a promotion at work or good grades at school, your life is going well. The opportunities seem to be flooding in now that your ex is out of the picture.

4. You're killing it on social media.

Where else is better to show off your new attitude? Social Media, of course. It may be vain, but this is the time to be vain without apologies. While your ex is posting cryptic tweets and captions of sad song lyrics, you're posting hot photos living your best life - doing your thing, having fun with your friends, looking like a million bucks.

5. You're getting out there and moving on.

You've started going on dates, and you're not ready to settle. Now you're crushing on and thinking about new people, not your ex.

6. You throw out everything that reminds you of them.

You completely cleanse yourself and your home from any reminders of your ex, including pictures, sweaters, and trinkets from your time together.

7. You run into them looking fabulous.

Everyone's worst nightmare is running into their ex, especially when you look less than great. But when you actually run into your ex, you happen to look great. Meanwhile, they look like a mess, alone, sad drinking at some bar. It may sound mean, but it's satisfying. They'll be left wondering how they lost you and you'll be left wondering how you ever cried over them. Bonus points if you're with a (hot) date.

8. They text or call you.

9. You don't go running back to them.

If your Ex tells you they miss you and wants you back, the worse thing you can do is go back to them. You're better than them now.

10. You genuinely don't care about them anymore.

You'll know you've "won" the breakup when you really stop caring about them. You don't even think badly of them anymore. You're doing all of this for yourself.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
