Every day I scroll through my Facebook timeline and see at least 1,500 shares on politics and the election. Okay maybe I’m exaggerating a little bit, but that’s what it seems like.
People are constantly sharing their beliefs on social media. It’s filled with a bunch of crap if you ask me. I’m sorry but if I see somebody sharing something from “theconservativepost.com” I know right then that it is biased and probably not truthful. These people are feeding their own minds with bullsh*t. I’m not saying it is only conservatives who do this, because both sides are guilty. Instead of constantly sharing unreliable information and spreading untruthfulness, we could look at their websites for where they actually stand on issues. We could tune in to the debates.
We need to set aside our own personal issues for a hot second and look at the bigger picture. We need to stop being selfish. We need to research to know what we, as individuals, believe in. Not go off of what we see our Facebook friends sharing. We need to look at what’s best for our nation as a whole.
Another thing that has really been irritating the hell out of me is people sharing articles on why they shouldn’t vote for a third party. It’s really nobody else’s business who you vote for in this election. It’s your own personal choice and right to express yourself in any way you want. If you want to vote for Donald Trump, go for it. Hillary Clinton? Go for it. Johnson and Weld? Power to ya’. Do what you think is right. Not what others are influencing you to think and do.
Once you figure out where you stand on issues and what you believe is best for the country, vote.
