Walt Disney World is known for hosting a halloween spectacular event throughout the months of September and October. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is hosted on certain dates throughout these months and tickets can be purchased online at Disney World's main website. It's a night where rare characters make an appearance throughout the park and all the villains come out to play!
Personally, I had to opportunity to go this month and through my experience, I can gladly say it is worth buying the ticket! Disney World only sells a certain amount of tickets for this event, which means less people in the park and no lines! The beginning of the month is known to have less people attend the event, whereas later on the month, towards Halloween, it becomes more packed.
The event begins from 7 p.m. until 12 a.m., however what people don't know is that they allow you to enter at 4 p.m. in the afternoon. This gives you plenty of time to ride all the rides and visit all of your favorite characters.
Instead of buying an expensive ticket to spend the entire day in long lines, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Ticket provides you with easy access to rides and characters, leaving you with enough time to view the famous Halloween Parade and Fireworks show.
The Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular is a show hosted in front of the Cinderella Castle and is a show that reveals each evil villain. The parade before that is specifically Halloween based, filled with characters like Cruella Deville, The Haunted Mansion ghosts, Oogie Boogie, and more!
Since it is a Halloween event, people can go dressed up as their favorite characters. I saw plenty of unique costumes which made my experience even more interesting. As you walk throughout the park, you run into plenty of characters that you normally wouldn't run into on a daily basis.
The most I had to wait in line for a ride was 25 minutes. The rest of the night there were barely any lines; the maximum was 10 minutes. It is especially worth going to because this is the only time of the year where the villains come out to play and you get the full Halloween experience while being in the happiest place on earth!
