Why You Need a Best Friend

t's not everyday you can say you've found someone to spend rest of your life with. And no, I'm not talking about a boyfriend or girlfriend. I'm talking about the person who will be there through all of your achievements, heartbreaks, bad decisions, good outcomes and life changes; your best friend. I can proudly say that I found my 'soulmate' in high school and I am so grateful to call her my sister, even if it's not by blood. Here are the unmistakable reasons why I love my best friend and why you absolutely need one too.

1. Someone With Endless Support


Even though she may not agree with all my beliefs or decisions, I know she will always support me. Always having someone who believes in you is comforting and encouraging.

2. Someone to Laugh With

When you laugh with someone until the room goes silent because you both can't breath. That's when you know you've found your best bud.

3. Someone to Cry With

We've all had bad days where we just want to let it all out. Good thing your best friend won't make fun of you when you whip out your ugly crying face.

4. Someone to Make Bad Decisions With

There's no one better to mess up with than your bestie. They don't call you 'Partners in Crime' for nothing.

5. Someone to Say Whatever You Want to

Whenever somethings on your chest, you know you can confide in your best friend to listen and give advice.

6. Someone to Express Yourself in Only a Way She Can Understand

Sometimes only a best friend can understand your crazy, quirky side and still be friends with you at the end of the day.

7. Someone to Make Memories With


One of the most fun parts about having a best friend is the amazing memories you make together.

8. Someone to Love Without a Chance of Breaking Up

Another great part about having a best friend is the commitment you've made to each other. No matter what happens, you will always be best of friends and love each other.

9. Someone to Have in All Stages of Life

Through the good and the bad. The fun times and the struggles. You know you always have a shoulder to lean on.

10. Someone to Do Absolutley Anything With

Whether you're going on a tropical vacation or chilling at home watching a movie and eating all the food, you have fun together because you're together.

11. Someone to Have Forever

No matter what happens, you're stuck with your bestie forever. After all, you guys became best friends for a reason.
