10 Reasons We Can't Stop Watching "The Bachelor"

If you are like me, you are strangely addicted to "The Bachelor" and all the other shows that the franchise offers. It doesn't matter how unrealistic the show is or how ridiculous it is that the we, as viewers, are actually accepting of a bachelor (or bachelorette) dating multiple people at a time. Does anyone else find it hilarious that people claim they have "fallen in love" after knowing the bachelor for a day? I do. I also find it uncomfortable that every date is televised. However, even with all of that being said, I love "The Bachelor" and find myself watching it season after season. While it's weird that a traditional girl like me, who supports real and genuine relationships, is obsessed with a reality TV show that fosters questionable and often forced relationships, I still love "The Bachelor" and won't stop watching it anytime soon. There's just something exciting about the possibility of happily ever after for two people, even if it doesn't end up that way. Here are 10 reasons why I can't stop watching "The Bachelor" (and you can't either).

1. One word: Ben Higgins.

Who doesn't enjoy a tall, dark, and handsome man? There's just something about the way Ben carries himself that has every girl swooning.

2. Those first night introductions where the bachelor meets way too many crazy girls in one night.

Showing up with a large rose on your head is one way to get the bachelor's attention...

3. We find it funny how serious Chris Harrison takes his job.

What's Chris always saying? Something like, "Ladies, Ben, this is the final rose tonight." No matter how many times he says it, we still love him.

4. The dates are always out of the ordinary.

Playing soccer with Alex Morgan? Not a bad day.

5. Watching how many girls claim that the bachelor is their soulmate after meeting him for the first time.

Please tell me how you know this after just meeting the guy? Also, I find it hard to believe that over 20 girls all have the exact same soulmate.

6. The drama between all the girls who are vying for the bachelor's attention is just too good.

"I can't believe she just did that" and "I don't trust her" are phrases you hear all too often. There is also an excess of crying.

7. You love seeing who is best dressed at the rose ceremonies.

Work it, ladies. Who will catch the bachelor's eye on this important night?

8. Watching the fantasy dates unfold never gets old.

Where will they go this season? What tropical island will they get to spend the weekend on? Who will the bachelor click with the best? Whose date will go the best?

9. It's fun to keep track of how many times the bachelor locks lips with different women.

How many girls can he kiss in one day? All that lip action...mono anyone?

10. Who needs Fantasy Football when you can have a Bachelor Bracket?

Making your picks of who is going to win the bachelor's heart is the most exciting part of the whole show. You can pick which team is going to win the Super Bowl, or you can strategically guess which girl is going to get a huge rock on her finger -- I think the second is much more exciting.

No matter how ridiculous the show can be at times, we love "The Bachelor," especially Ben from this season. How will this season unfold?

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
