Why On Earth Did Women March On Washington?
It's the Women, not the Men!

Why on Earth did women march in Washington?

Why do they think that they need to have control over their own body?

First and foremost, we need to make sure that these harlots cannot sin, so a quick wallop across the skull with a Bible should straighten them all out. When things that don’t affect me at all bother me, it is my Constitutional right to complain about it and make sure it stops, no matter how much it helps someone else.

Why do they think they need to have the ability to choose?

The choices available to them at present are the best choices. They need to realize that.

Why do they think they should have access to reproductive healthcare?

It makes no difference what their race or social class is, they should always just prepare for the worst and live their lives in fear to avoid wasting taxpayer dollars on their hospital bills.

Why do they think that old white men can’t decide what’s best for them?

Old men are wise. That’s what the white hair means. Every shade whiter is like a level up of wisdom. Also, they have a lot of money, so they must have good judgment. Just let them choose for you. They'll take good care of you.

Why do they think that the “glass ceiling” exists?

Seriously, this one really befuddles me. There is literally NOTHING in the way from any women becoming head secretary of any firm. Trust me, head secretary is just about as good as it gets.

Why do they believe they are discriminated against in any way?

Seriously, if women spent as much time in the kitchen as they did complaining in the streets I wouldn’t even have to write this article. If women were so discriminated against, would people like Sarah Palin get into power?

Why do they have to stand in the street?

Men are trying to work. If they got a real job other than head secretary maybe they would understand.

Why do women wish to be entitled to basic human rights and liberties?

Do I have to spell this one out? It’s hu-MAN not hu-WOMAN. Only men get basic human rights and liberties, it’s in the name.

Why do they think that they need to have a voice?

I don’t know the answer to any of these questions. I don’t know why anyone could dare to ask this much of their government. All people need to learn to sit back and settle for mediocrity and oppression. It’s the way it is. American’s don’t have freedoms to just walk around spouting their opinions and fighting what they don’t agree with. That would be almost… fair.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
