Why I Cannot Bring Myself To Vote For Hillary Clinton
TIME

As everyone can agree on, this election will be one to remember as it is going to have a huge influence on our country in so many ways. As I always say, this election makes me feel like I am choosing what disease I am okay living with. I feel like I have to pick the best of the worst, and that is an interesting feeling considering I am a first time voter. That being said, I am obviously figuring out which side I want to send my first vote to. I, as I hope many Millennials are, have been doing research and keeping up with the different candidates to see where my opinion may correspond with. And by doing so, I can honestly say “Hill No” to voting for the pantsuit.

First of all, why would I ever vote for someone who lied to every American citizen? Why would anyone? The fact that Hillary Clinton is still the Democratic candidate after the email scandal is beyond me. Everything about this woman is a lie and I am not going to make a liar the Commander in Chief of my country. The life of Hillary is one scandal after another, and I can’t understand why anyone would think that so much scandal would make a good president.

When I look for someone who I would want to run my country, I look to see how successful they were in their previous job or position. And the Benghazi scandal alone might make Hillary the biggest failure as Secretary of State, ever. She is fully responsible for the lack of security that caused that attack leading to the deaths of four Americans. It was her job as the Secretary of State… and when she finally turned in her emails, there was absolutely nothing concerning the attack in her State Department email. But when those personal email came in, over 900 emails had a reference to the place of the attack, Libya. It doesn’t seem to me that any emails concerning the security of the country or of its citizens should be mixed in with her wine newsletters and pantsuit discount emails.

The whole email scandal shows how sneaky this woman is. I don’t think I can trust someone who hides top secret information concerning the country in their personal email account that can be hacked by absolutely anyone. Plus, she said she used the personal server “for convenience.” National security and top secret county administration should be handled “for convenience?” I don’t think so. Working for the government of this country in any department is solely for the country and its people. Those jobs are not to be done for personal convenience, but rather the convenience of the American people. What kind of president will she be if she only considers what is easiest for her, when her job is to consider what is easiest and best for us?

Not only does this woman lie, but she is pretty hypocritical. In 2004, in an interview Clinton claimed that she believed “marriage is not just a bond but a sacred bond between a man and a woman.” Her opinion has very clearly changed, obviously. She alters her views (or says she does) based on convenience (oh, that again). If it gets her the vote, she will say anything—even if she doesn’t believe it herself.

When I go to Clinton’s website, I really can’t stay on it too long without wanting to shut it off based solely on the pictures. Every single page you go to has a picture of her doing something whether it be humanitarian (if she even knows what that word means) or the “job” she so terribly did. The pictures make me think she is actually trying to prove something instead of giving me the facts. I get it Hillary, you can travel and have every color of the rainbow in pantsuits.

Like I said before in an article about Bernie Sanders, free does not work. As great as free college sounds, it just won’t work. Free things can’t be given to those who don’t work for it. And if she wants to do all of these “free” things, I don’t understand how she is going to pay for her $60 billion Clean Energy Challenge. We learned how to clean our energy in the 5th grade anyways.

And lastly, I cannot bring myself to ever agree with someone who is willing to allow for unborn children to be brutally murdered.

No matter which way this election goes, America is going to face some change, challenge and controversy. The only thing I know is that there is no way I can ever vote for Hillary Clinton.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
