Who I Am

This is who I am, who I want to be

Who I Am
500 pix

I'm an introvert

I like to stay inside

and read sometimes

I used to be really shy,

but I'm coming out of my cocoon

so I can fly free and become a butterfly

My true colors come out

blue, orange, yellow, green---

the limit doesn't exist

with all those colors that are vibrant,

Put all of them together so it spells ''ROY G BIV"

I'm a writer and a poet,

but before I didn't know it

I guess you could say words are pretty important to me

I'm just a kid who loves rhymes and gluing words

and hearing poets and rappers bust out a poetic verse

Math and science aren't my strong suits,

but art and music always will be connected to my creativity

at least, that's what my closest friends know about me

I have some rainy days and sunny days

but that doesn't stop me from wanting to play outside

and stay up late to see the sunset

or wake up so see the sunrise

I know both are a beautiful sight to see

There is no need for a debate

for who agrees or disagrees

which one is better

because both are a part of nature

The moral of the story is

I've been through a lot,

But that doesn't mean

I didn't have positivity and support

to fill that gray slot

I have found people who have made me feel more confident

Worth it

And help me stay true to my significance

I'd love to travel and see the world

so one;

I can change the lives of others

and two;

to simply experience

what it's like to see an incredible view

from the mountain top to below the sea

and to most importantly, taste all the yummy food

that the locals have to offer me

This is who I am

I'm still figuring out who I want to be

Luckily, since I'm still at the golden age of nineteen

I have time to resurface my youth before entering my twenties

I want to discover more of the world

so everyone can listen to what I have to say,

which will always end with,

thank you, and have a wonderful day

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
