The first thing most do after trick-or-treating is to take count of the goods. Some things you got are great, while others you wonder why someone even bought them. Wondering who gave you what this Halloween? I've got you covered.
1. Caramel Cubes
The elderly couple down the street are nice and all, but don't they know that kids only use these to throw at each other? When the door opens and they only have a bucket of these, it's time to just smile as nod as to not be rude.
2. Air Heads
This house definitely has kids. This year they asked their kids what candy kids like, and they told them Airheads. News that this house had Airheads spread fast, and they're out of candy very early in the night.
3. Money
Whenever you receive $1 bills, it's from a recent college grad that just moved into an adult home or apartment. They completely forgot that they now need to buy candy for Halloween, but didn't want to leave you with nothing. You don't mind though, as money is money. Who needs candy anyway?
4. Whoppers
These people just bought a mega pack of chocolate candies and let the trick-or-treaters choose for themselves. Shocker, all the Reeces, Butterfinger and Twix were gone first, leaving a full bucket of Whoppers behind. Well, it's better than nothing.
5. Popcorn Balls
These people love to bake on any holiday, and Halloween is so exception. These are some of the best treats you can get. Only eat these though if they're from a neighbor you know, as non-packaged things could have been messed with.
6. Reese's
JACKPOT. These people know what kids want on Halloween and nailed it. Sadly, these seem to be rare. Whenever you find one though, it's as if the Halloween gods are smiling down on you. These will be the first thing eaten out of your bag, but it was worth it.
7. Dum Dums
These are given out by the people who prefer sugar to chocolate candy and want to give you the best of the best. Whenever people have Dum Dums, they usually let you pick out the ones you want since there are so many flavors. Go for the watermelon, cotton candy or rootbeer if there are any left. Never trust mystery flavor.
No matter what candy you get this Halloween, be safe and have fun. Trick-or-treat!
