When You Date A Girl Who Writes

When You Date A Girl Who Writes

I know that there are lots and lots of articles involving this topic - but I couldn't help myself. Mainly because I find it romantic, and I am definitely a romantic. It is also because I am a girl who writes, so I know this one best. Dating a girl who reads is one thing, but when you date a girl who writes, you're playing with something quite magical. However, though there are many perks and exciting upsides to dating a girl who writes, there are also a few things you should be wary of... but I'll get to that later. Either way, you must date a girl who writes, at least one time in your life. You will fall into a crazy, fiery kind of love that you too, will want to write stories about. I will tell you what I mean.

When you date a girl who consistently writes, she will help you fall in love. Girls who write are constantly in their own minds, in their own world - a place that is far away from the one that we as humans recognize. When you witness her courage to step away for a few hours and enter her own imaginary world, it will allow you to want to do the same thing. And when you do, you are allowing yourself to be a little bit more vulnerable, willing to take a chance. She will teach you to be brave.

When you date a girl who finds joy in writing, she will help you to be honest and authentic. The greatest thing about sitting down with a pen and some paper, or a typewriter in a quiet room, is that you can be one hundred person raw and balanced. There is no hiding, and a true writer doesn't hold back any emotion, not one strand of fear, they admit to their wrongs, and sometimes admit that they are afraid of their mistakes in life. They put their hearts on their sleeve and they go into great detail about how they will risk just about anything to be with that one person. They delve head first, their words as risk takers. When their heart aches, they'll pour their soul onto the paper so that when they're done, there is nothing but agony and melancholy. When you date a girl who is not afraid to hold anything back, it's really hard to escape that route and keep away in the shadows. A girl who writes brings out the best in you.

The girl who writes might will most likely write you into her stories. And yes, I know that this term as usually ended up in flames for certain reasons, but you will be the center of her inspiration. You might be her muse. However, that all depends on how much you mean to her, and how you feel about her in return. Not only will you feel flattered and excited, but you will be able to look into her writing and actually see how she perceives you - that is, if she lets you read her writing... and I'm sure that she eventually will. :)

If a girl writes about you, may that be a short story or a poem, that means that you are important to her, and in some cases, she might be falling in love with you. Reading about yourself will help you understand how she views you, and that will make you fall in love with her even more. The way that she describes you so clearly and specifically is stitched together so perfectly that you think this is all a magical dream - but it's not. It's reality, but it's quite a beautiful thing. That's the thing about dating a girl who writes; you're almost scripted into her world, because that's the only world she truly knows - her imaginery one. And all the possibilities are endless. Dating a girl who adores writing will try as hard as she can, to reflect what's written on her paper, onto her life... the one with you in it.

When you go on the escapade of dating the girl who writes, you will inspire one another, and this will allow you to learn more about each other, and go into the depths of each other's soul.

If you date a girl who writes, get ready to understand that she will be in her own world most of the time. Also know that you'll have time apart - which is okay, because she will sometimes choose a lot of time to write and want to be away from most people. But, that is not a bad thing. She will crave her laptop or her pen and notebook and will only want to be surrounded by the loud silence so that the words come to her mind clearly and unmistakably. Or she will want to sit in the middle of the forest so that the only life-like things that are accompanying her, are mankind's creatures. Sometimes she might choose writing over you, so be ready for that. But please, do not be offended. Time apart will only cause the heart to grow fonder, because when she is done writing, she will come back happy and replenished and satisfied, and she will want to be in your arms.

When you date a girl who writes, you'll start to notice that she doesn't like to be in one place for too long. She gets bored easily, and that goes along for day dreaming a lot, and being lost in her own mind from time to time. She wants to experience so many things so that she can be consecutively inspired, so that she can write nonstop. She lives in a world where it's all bright, colorful, and logic doesn't make much sense to her. She wants to live to the fullest, and she wants to take everything in like a sponge. Don't try to hold down a girl who writes, because she will pull back faster and harder. She may like to spend a lot of time buried away in her room, writing... but at the same exact time, she is wild.

If you date a girl who writes, remember that she is easily distressed, as she is easily inspired and caught up in the euphoria of words. Don't try to take her away from her element. She needs to write, so that she can survive and make it in this world. It's all she really has, no matter what. It's what comforts her and makes her feel like a human. If you steal that away from her, it's like she isn't allowed to breathe.

But remember this... When you date a girl that writes, be careful. As much as her soul is beautiful, she is also dangerous and easy to set off, at times. Her words are her ammunition, and if you do anything that hurts her - she will wield her words together so perfectly, that when she is done, you will be wishing that you hadn't damaged her. Because she will come back ten times more powerful. Some girls use physical violence, some girls scheme... girls that write, get revenge with words - something that stays with you forever.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
