Of course, procrastination is the worst. If you're wondering right now, yes this article is definitely late.
Procrastination is this sneaky little devil that loves to creep up on you at the absolute worst time. When you're studying for that math test, writing an essay for your English class, or even getting out of bed, procrastination will swoop in and take you hostage for the time being. It gets to the point where you can't even control it anymore, which gets extremely frustrating. People from all over the world struggle with this, so don't ever think that you are alone when you end up choosing an episode of Netflix over an English essay.
Once the procrastination starts, it's almost like a maze you need to find your way out of. It starts off as one episode of your favorite TV show instead of an assignment, and then a couple hours later you realize that you have watched half of the season. It eventually turns into a habit that is nearly impossible to break. Every day you get out of class, you go straight to your cell phone or Netflix and throw your backpack to the depths of your room to be forgotten. Procrastination will make you do your entire project the night before when the teacher says that it can't be done. You defy the odds by finishing your homework on time, but it leaves you drained the next day. People don't realize the stress and exhaustion that comes with procrastinating everything.
Like I said, it's difficult to break the habit, but it can be done by just organizing your day. and forcing yourself to turn off your favorite show to do your homework is a huge step. Just think about how much easier your life will be if you just finished your work right when you got home, and after you have all of the time in the day to watch that show or go out with friends.
Overall, life is insanely difficult, and I barely listen to the solution I just wrote about. But nevertheless, things will turn out for you in the end, even if you procrastinate your whole way through. You might lose some sleep because of starting homework at midnight, but it will get finished. You will learn from mistakes and become a better procrastinator from that!
