Last night, while the majority of Appalachian State was at the home football game against long time rival, Georgia Southern, someone had another agenda. Around the end of the second quarter, it was brought to the officials attention that the ambulance, intended to be used in case of an athlete injury, had been stolen. It was later found having been abandoned a few miles away from campus.
Over the past few hours, this incident has been picked up by multiple news sources, including TFM. What everyone has failed to do is name the culprit. Here are the top seven suspects.
1. Yosef
That's right, the original Mountaineer himself. Sources say Yosef was missing for a 10-minute span during the second quarter and he has yet to verify his whereabouts.
2. Chancellor Everts
Due to the protest held earlier in the day at the Stadium lot, she felt that the ambulance needed to be moved as soon as possible. After all, you can't tailgate if there's an ambulance in your space.
3. Armanti Edwards
App State's original "Golden Arm" couldn't handle the success his beloved 'Neers were having without him. So it's believed he stole the ambulance to get his name called over that loud speaker at The Rock just one last time.
4. The ghost of Daniel Boone
This is a kind of spooky theory.
5. Jerry Moore
The man, the myth, the legend himself took the ambulance. App State's legendary coach got too excited as the possibility of App being eligible to play in a FBS bowl game was becoming a reality. So he hopped in the ambulance and took it for a spin around Boone to celebrate.
6. Eric Church
Some sources say they could hear the culprit jammin' to "Give Me Back My Home Town". We all know what famous alumni sings that one.
7. An Angry Protester

They might have needed somewhere to park.
Literally none of this is true except that the 'Neers are now bowl eligible. Go Apps!
