When you're back for holiday break, there's a lot of things on your mind that you need to accomplish before heading back for the spring semester, but these 10 things are the most important.
1. Eat all the food you've been missing since the summer.
That's it. Go back to all your favorite restaurants and get that food you've been craving at 3 a.m. while you're laying in your dorm room.
2. See your friends you feel like you haven't seen in years.
Your high school squad is back in town and back in business, make sure to spend some quality time with the people who helped you get through your most awkward days in high school.
3. Revamp your wardrobe.
Whether it's the cool new stuff you got during the holidays or some cute stuff you got at an after Christmas sale, bring some new fashion staples back with you to spice up your sweatshirt and leggings uniform for class.
4. Clean your room.
When you come back to your old room and see all the rejected clothes and random stuff laying on the floor, you have to do something. A lot of that stuff someone else would appreciate way more and you could probably get some good money for it along the way. Sort through it all and get rid of what you don't want, and you'll feel way better afterward.
5. Sleep as much as possible, in your own bed!
One thing a lot of college students missed the most was an actual bed fit for real people, not a twin extra long or whatever that dorm monstrosity is. Catch some zzz's in the best bed that ever existed -- yours.
6. Watch Netflix.
I know you probably watched a lot during the semester too, but a little Netflix never hurt anybody.
7. Try to make some money.
Whether it's working at your job or doing some chores around the house, some extra cash will be awesome when you go back to school and have cravings for pizza all the time.
8. Read a book, watch a movie, do something fun.
There are a lot of leisure activities that get tossed out the window when the semester gets underway because there is so much other stuff going on. With all your free time, try doing the things you used to do for fun and see how much you still love them.
9. Relax.
No stress of school over the next month is so awesome, and it's the perfect time to collect yourself again. Take a bubble bath, get your nails done, or do whatever makes you the most relaxed and take this time for yourself.
10. Family time.
Getting to spend this time with family is the biggest blessing during this time, even if it might not seem like that 100 percent of the time. Spend as much time as you can with your family, pets included, so you'll have a hearty dose of them before you go back for the next semester.
