Any normal human being can agree that they would be nowhere without their friends. A lot of us -- especially in college, are with our close friends 24/7. Spending every second together is never tiring, and you're all talking for hours, never running out of something to say. Sadly, not all of us can live just minutes (or even seconds) from their friends. Some may just be a two-hour car ride, or a short flight away. Regardless, the bond is just as strong. Of course, living far away from your friends is a huge bummer.
1. Planning visits
Whether you need to plan a week or a month ahead, it still sucks. It's not so easy to just show up at their front door.
2. Constant boredom
Your local friends are cool, but sometimes different company is needed.
3. Seeing them is costly
Tolls and plane tickets aren't cheap.
4. Different schedules
We all have our own lives, but I need to be in yours more. (!!!)
5. Skype and FaceTime are the best inventions, ever
Not seeing each other sucks, but video chat is amazing.
6. You're always communicating
Not a day goes by that you're not all texting/snapchatting/tweeting each other.
7. You still know everything
Yeah, I haven't met the new guy you're dating, but I know everything about him. Distance means nothing.
8. Reunions are amazing
Whether it's been weeks, or months since you've seen each other -- it's still so exciting.
9. Being together is the best feeling
Even if we're sitting on the couch, or going out -- it's still exciting.
10. Leaving each other is hard
Expect the "I miss you already" text in about five minutes.
