“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us” ~Charles Dickens
Scientists are some of the most influential and intellectual humans in the world. They study how and why things work, react, respond, interact, and develop...you get where I’m headed here. Those who study and interpret theology and archaic literature are also considered among some of the top intellectual and most understanding of the world and of how we humans ended up here on this earth. Adam and Eve. Cosmos. Monkeys. A small cell. The dust.
This world is full of various beliefs: some more "logical" or scientific than others, some more "mystical" and "mysterious, and some newer and even open to interpretation. So many "gods". Unfortunately, that’s where the large percentages of us are divided and split based on the differences of our beliefs.
Whether you’re Greek or Jewish, Christian or Muslim, Hindu or Atheist, we were all created for a purpose, despite what you believe landed you here on this earth. Whether you do believe you were conceived out of the grain of the sand or made within the elements of our natural earth or reincarnated from your past life, you are here, you are here now, you are breathing and believe it or not, with some kind of purpose.
Take that into consideration.
This world is made up of billions of us and consequently, we all live under the same sun, the same moon, and the same stars. We must have something in common, yeah?
Currently on earth, we have estimated to have about 7.4 billion people, how do we all, in fact, have various creators? Scientifically, logistically, theoretically, and potentially even more importantly-theologically, is that even possible?
Ponder your beliefs: why are you here?
I am not judging any one particular “religion” but I am offering the question to you: have you ever thought about why you in particular, as an independent human being were born on this wide and succulent and diverse earth? Have you yet discovered who your creator may be, who your giver of life is?
Yes, I am aware this topic is a touchy and very messy one.
Yes, I am willing to bring it up.
Example: you wake up, go to work, make some money, pay some bills, then repeat.
Question: why? What is the purpose, what is your purpose, and how do you know that’s your purpose?
Definition of Purpose: the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists.
Is it possible that the same God that created Adam and Eve, Abraham and Isaac also created you? (Just an objective question). Could it also be that the same God that created those flowers which bloom on your front walk also created that sweet heartbeat inside your womb? Or how about the intricate ability of the doctor that cured your sister of the cancer eating away at her body? Who granted him that wisdom? Could the same God have created you? Could he have loved you as much as he loved His son, could he love you as much as he loved his son enough to die for you? Who is your God?
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, the earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep, and the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the earth."
We all live on the same earth, under the same stars, weathering the same disturbances attached with pain and suffering. Most of us all have the same opportunity to look at the sky each day, the birds of the air, as well as the fish of the seas. Could our creator be that great? Could our creator be the creator of mankind as well as the earth and of all eternity?
Ask yourself.
Who created you?
Could He be the God who sent His son?
Just ask yourself.
What is your purpose?
