Everyone needs a break from the daily struggles of life. Sometimes we need alone time or time with close friends and family members in order to unwind. This calls for a road trip! Not just any road trip, but the perfect road trip. Have you ever thought about your perfect road trip? There is no universal answer because it is quite simply up to you. Do you enjoy riding the coast all the way down to Florida? Or, are you the type of person that likes to take a cross country road trip stopping at every land mark until you reach the beaches of Santa Monica California? Are you the type who just needs two hours alone driving down an empty back road reflecting on your inner thoughts and feelings?
Whatever type of person you are, you deserve a road trip. Do not tell yourself you have no time because you are never going to have time to do things once you get older. You have to make time; it is just part of life. Do not let the threat of money stop you from going out and exploring the world. Yes, I know it takes money, but if you plan it out, you can do it insanely cheap. Gas is going to be your biggest issue.
Life is short and before you know it, you won’t be able to take a trip down the coast. Before you know it, there will no longer be any back roads you have not driven down before. Road trips and solo drives around town are very therapeutic. Sometimes your best decisions and your best ideas will come to you when you are behind a wheel with your favorite song playing on the radio. Then you think of it, eureka! You just figured out the solution you have been searching for. Even though this does not always happen, you are bound to feel relaxed behind the wheel as if you are in your own world even if it is just for a little while. The prefect road trip, just the idea, makes you excited. The idea of having no worries but paying attention to the road surrounding you is great. You cannot run away from life’s problems because that will not solve anything. However, no one ever said that you cannot take a short break from them.
Nevertheless, life’s problems will always be here but it gives you something to look forward to. You can look forward to your perfect road trip. It is in your hands to decide what to do. The moral is to remember that life is short and struggles are consistent. Never forget to live your life and do not ever live your life in fear. Take a road trip sometime; you will thank yourself. Just on more thing you have to ask yourself: what is your perfect road trip?
