On a typical Friday night, it's expected that I am indulging in the adventures of the alluring night and enjoying the college lifestyle. However, in my life that is not the case- Not to say that I am not seizing the little dares life tosses my way, I'm just that quirky person who finds myself home alone on a Friday. Oftentimes a tub of Ben & Jerry's chocolate peanut butter ice cream, a lush bath bomb, and a good read seems to distract my Fridays. Then, there are other times when you realize you're bored because you thought it'd be a good idea to clean out your closet or buy unnecessary infomercial products. Digging through new forms of entertainment, I discovered the Wii Fit tucked behind our other video games.
I had completely forgotten that we still had the Wii Fit, or that I would enjoy it so much when I began playing it again. I couldn't really help myself, it seemed entertaining and I am not rollin' in the dough to pay for a gym membership. So, why not? Spending a Friday night remember why I dedicated the majority of one summer to playing the Wii Fit which as the time seemed like a good time investment.
While I began to dive into all of the excitement, I was consumed by the creative graphics and vibrant characters. I didn't realize the many features that the Wii Fit offered. I guess when I am a little kid, my attention span is limited to playing fun games and critiquing mac n' cheese. Well now experiencing the Wii Fit, I found many new reasons to love it as an adult.
Clearly, the interesting games that the Wii Fit offers makes the idea of exercising seem more appealing. Surprisingly, it's pretty easy to become completely mesmerized by the game you're playing. For example, there is an obstacle course floating in the air with swinging wrecking balls that seems almost impossible to defeat.
Although the games offer an adventure, Wii Fit has other forms of exercise and health tips to maintain a healthy lifestyle. The Wii Fit allows people to create their own character and a trainer that will work with them throughout their journey. Similarly when you create your character to participate in the Wii Fit, it tailors your character to your own unique personality traits. Not only does it resemble you, but it demonstrates your progress over time.
At your own pace, you can take yoga classes, aerobics, and strength conditioning sessions in order to work out. Continually taking these courses will allow you to progress and the level of difficulty significantly increases.
Lastly, the Wii Fit gives people an opportunity to track their diet and count their calorie intake. Since tasks like these can be tedious, the Wii Fit creates a greater incentive for people to stay healthy.
Taking an interesting approach to kicking our lazy American butts into gear, the Wii Fit made it all so easy. Whether you are someone who wants to maintain a healthier lifestyle or you are just looking for a distraction on a Friday night, try the Wii Fit. It will prove worth your while.
