The Odyssey

It is about that time of the year where sororities’ just got their new members. This means many things, but for someone who was just a new member last year like me, it most importantly means: WHO IS GOING TO BE MY LITTLE? It takes a lot of time and patience to find the perfect one, but once I do, she sure has a lot in store for her.

At any time or place I see you, I will scream loud and proud, “LITTLE!”

I will brag about you to all my friends, family, classmates, etc.

Getting me as a big means that you are also getting three additional ‘FIGS’ aka my roommates in other sororities.

I hope you are down for road trips to other schools so I can show you off in all different states.

Be ready to listen to my rants when I am too frustrated to hold it in any longer.

My squad in the sorority is about to get twice as better with you in it.

You will have a personal body guard at all times to protect you from any and all boys who think they’re good enough for you.

We will be taking pictures every second that we can to document how perfect we are for each other.

You have no choice but to come visit me in the summers at the beach when we are apart for far too long.

Our dates will be filled with ice cream, chain restaurants, and lots of Netflix.

Whatever is mine is yours.

Although I am 4’11’’, I am willing to fight for you.

Finding a little means more to me than just the candid’s and getting matching letters (even though we are SO going to do that). We are in for the long run together. I can’t wait to be inseparable and be so happy to have found each other. To whoever my future little ends up being, you are sure in for the best years of your life with a big who loves you more than anything by your side!
