The time has come where every college student is going through midterm week. The stress is beyond words can describe and all you feel like doing is curling up in a ball and crying until the week is officially over. I guarantee you that almost every college student thinks these things during the week of midterms...

1. "Spring break can't come fast enough.."

After midterm, you usually have spring break that following week and it seems like an eternity until it finally gets here. We tend to think of all the fun we are going to have over break and being able to come home.

2. "Instead of counting the months till the end of school, I count the weeks.."

To make things feel a little better, instead of telling yourself you have a little over two months left of school, you say that there are just 8 weeks left of the semester. It doesn't seem as bad as two months... am I right?!

3. "Where are the energy drinks?"

Since midterms is all about the exams and studying, you need something to keep you awake through those late hour of studying. Maybe it's an energy drink or one of those Starbucks drinks with a heck of a lot of caffeine in them. YOU MUST STAY AWAKE.

4. "I'm going to study....right after I watch one more episode of my show.."

The procrastination is real and Netflix does not help the situation either. Binge watching is a serious problem especially when you should be studying... but you really have to finish that episode of the office because that's top priority.

5. "I have no clue what is going on in any of my classes.."

It's funny because you have a midterm in that class but you have no idea what you are even learning. It's literal gibberish and you try it figure it out on your own, but then you get frustrated and give up. At this point, you just hope for the best and say a prayer.

6. "Does my class offer extra credit?"

You basically have it set in stone that you are going to possibly fail this midterm so you email the teacher asking if they give out any extra credit to save your grade. Most of the time... they don't give out extra credit so you're S.O.L.

7. "I'm going to just drop out.."

You are at the point in the semester where you just decide you want to drop out because the stress is taking over your body.

8. " WOW, I am emotionally unstable..."

You probably have a lot of mental breakdowns because the semester is giving you serious anxiety. You don't know what it's like to be normal anymore...(little dramatic, but it's true) What was life before school started?

9. " Maybe a tutor can help me with my life..."

They probably can't figure out your life for you, but they can certainly help with any classes you are struggling with and that can be a relief.

10. " I am going to try to stay positive and hope for the best..:

That's all we can do at this point in time; hope that everything will turn out okay which I am sure it will. Keep calm, focus on school, focus on the end of the school year, and make it through.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
