2015 was another huge year for the digital world. Below are some of the most influential, shocking, mind-blowing, catchy, and annoying things that took this year by storm.
Left Shark
Made famous for it's off beat dance moves during Katy Perry's half time performance, Left Shark is in our hearts forevermore.
WHAT ARE THOSE!
Originally from an Instagram video, the term what are thooooooooose took the world by storm. Croc and Birkenstock wearers everywhere were the new target of this phenomenon.
Hotline Bling
October 26th, 2015: The day Drake blessed the world with the highly anticipated Hotline Bling video. October 27th, 2015: The day the world blessed Drake with hundreds of memes of his *interesting* dance moves from the video.
Adele Reaction Vines
It's no secret that the world lost its sh*t when Adele decided to bless us with a new song. If you're looking for a good way to spend a few hours, Google "Hello Adele reactions," but this one here is definitely my favorite.
The Dress
Back in February, the world faced the biggest divide ever - what color is this damn dress? Maybe you always saw white and gold, maybe you thought it was two different dresses, but regardless, you spent more than a reasonable amount of time looking at this image. Do we know what color it is yet?

Caitlyn Jenner
One of the most anticipated articles this year came from Vanity Fair and was on someone we'd never heard of before - Caitlyn Jenner. Regardless of your view on her and the whole Kardashian/Jenner clan, your eyes were glued on her that June morning.
Steve Harvey
My man Steve Harvey absolutely stunned the world by announcing the wrong Miss Universe winner in December. For those of you who haven't seen... where have you been? He announces Miss Columbia as the winner, she is crowned, and takes her first (and last) walk as Miss Universe for nearly three minutes before Harvey comes back on stage and announces Miss Philippines is the real winner. Arguably, the best part is that Miss Columbia didn't speak very good english so she likely had no idea what was happening until Miss Universe 2014 took the crown off Miss Columbia. Ouch.
Netflix And Chill
F*ckboys everywhere rejoiced the day "Netflix and Chill" was coined. Used as a phrase to coax someone into coming over to watch Netflix and ~chill~, only to then anticipate some sort of sexual exchange. Women everywhere cringe when receiving this text that has become the new booty call..only misleading.
Donald Trump
There's no use explaining. Everything he is and has been in 2015 speak for itself.
Cheers to 2016, the year of Hulu and commitment. Maybe in 2016 **they'll** want you to be successful. Cheers to a happy and healthy new year. May we all kill this year harder than the primaries kill Donald Trump *sips champagne*
