It makes you feel tired, unmotivated, and sometimes sad. 1. Listen to Some Good Music
Music can help turn your day from drab to fab with just a few minutes. You can listen to some of your favorite artists or Spotify has so many inspiring playlists to help you get the motivation to get out of bed or to work up the energy to accomplish everything your day has in store.

Journaling doesn't have to always be writing. If you are more visual, you can also art journal which can help release stress in a different way.
3. Call Your Mom
No one knows you like your mom. That's just a universal truth. She can give you a new sense of clarity and advice you may not have been thinking about before. If you don't want to call your mom try calling your best friend or maybe another family member, someone who can give you an outside perspective.
4. Go to the Beach
The immensity of the beach can bring you back down to earth sometimes. The calming sounds of the beach can also really help soothe whatever may be going on in your mind. Maybe bring a friend with you and you can talk out whatever may be bothering you.
5. Grab a Camera
While taking pictures you are looking at the world from a different perspective. Sometimes this offers enough distance from your situation to be able to look at it differently. It can also be really therapeutic and you can get a ton of new pictures out of it.
6. Read a Good Book
From the classics to a YA novel, inspiration can be found in any place. Books can be both a tool to overcoming your funk and a distraction from whatever is going on in your life. By traveling to another world through literature, you may find some clarity in yours.
7. Find a Happy Place
A coffee shop, a park, the beach, the shower. These are all places that may bring you peace. It is all individual tastes. Finding a place where you can just sit and feel joy is where you should go when you are not feeling one hundred percent yourself.
8. Meditate
Meditating can help you be alone with your thoughts and just think about everything rationally. Being alone with yourself is sometimes both the hardest and the most efficient way to make yourself feel better. Focus on your breathe and picture all your worries going away.
