What I got out of the TrumpsterJuice Convention

This week in politics was very eventful… Now I did not mean informational …. I meant eventful at times edu-tainment. Well with TrumpsterJuice’s wife “sampling Michelle’s amazing 2008 speech to Ted Cruz non-endorsement of the republican nominee, who is a bigoted violence-inciting, foreigner hating, snobbish jerk. Then the selection of a governor who wants to defund every women and LGTBQ foundation in the United States.

Ted was my hero of the week by not endorsing pure ignorance and promoting common sense. I think it is Ivanka Trump, TrumsterJuice’s daughter, running the show behind the scenes. I think she is the one who chose Pence-L-d**k because he doesn’t have enough balls to stand up for women or common sense when it comes to dealing with TrumpsterJuice.

My mom always told me to vote my conscience, so when a republican uttered those words, I knew the world is coming to an end… Maybe Cruz can be a third party candidate and take out TrumpsterJuice and pray gay away Pence? But, then again, he will pull much needed votes from both candidates. While watching the Bill Maher Show, the actress America Ferrera said a true statement that there is no excuse for not voting. Every year is an election year, it is not enough to go vote, it is your responsibility that you make sure people of your specific community and be registered and vote so the candidate that most aligned with your belief system. See, look at a few token African Americans that TrumpsterJuice actually paid for the endorsements. He received for example Ben Carson and Condoleezza Rice. Cruz decided his principles and country were more important that deciding not to drink the TrumpsterJuice, like all the other lambs following the pack to the slaughter. This lets me know that he has a brain and he wants to instruct other sane Americans to vote for a candidate who will serve their best interest and has the most experience to achieve the desired effect for the American people. Yes, Lady Mrs. Clinton has had some missteps, but haven't all of us? If TrumpsterJuice says he forgave Pence for all his transgressions, why can’t the American public do so about the e-mail and the servers? Most people are having an episode about TrumpsterJuices’ Universities and his six bankruptcies. Remember TrumpsterJuice’s brain fart when he was in the wrong country and congratulated the Britain for the surprising exit from the union?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
