Hello, 90's babies! We are all at a peak of our lives! At the end of 2017, all 90's babies will officially be adults! Scary right? But to bring us all back to our childhood days, let's talk about the one thing we all can agree on was the absolute best!

The video games.

The video games from the time we were kids up until we were teenagers were the best to ever be created. From the old school Nintendo games, to the computer games, and so much more. Our generation had it all. We got to really experience the gaming world grow and were practically the test dummies along the way. Not all of the video games were made in the 90's, but they are definitely one's you have played throughout your childhood. So here are 12 video games to make you feel nostalgic AF.

1. Any and all Mario Games

Let's be honest here folks, there isn't one Mario based game that wasn't seriously fun! From Mario Kart to Mario Party, they all bring out a fun and friendly (sometimes) competitive side to gaming! Nothing says nostalgia like that voice going "It's a-me Mario!"

2. Sonic The Hedgehog

"SEGAAAAAA" That moment where you would turn on the game and you wouldn't realize how loud you had the TV on until you heard that dramatic intro! Sonic was a great game full of capturing rings and spinning all over the map. It has slowly grown over the years and has combined with Mario and other friends along the way to create even better games!

3. Pacman

Whether you were playing it on your desktop or you had the version that plugged into the TV (yes the one where you had to change the channel to 3) Pacman will forever make you want to go back to your childhood days.

4. Animal Crossing

As I'm sure all of you know, Animal Crossing was just recently made into an iPhone game. SUPER exciting! Animal crossing was a game that everyone had fun with until everyone in town wanted you to do EVERYTHING for them. From the Wii to the DS, Animal Crossing was always a hit.

5. Legend of Zelda

If you are a really true gamer, you'll definitely remember the amazing game that is the Legend of Zelda. This game brought a whole new aspect to the gaming world and no true gamer could ever forget it. You also won't forget trying to tell a non gamer that, no, the character you're playing is not in fact Zelda. Why do all the non gamers not know it's Link!

6. Any and ALL Pokémon games

Ah Pokémon. Probably one of the best video games to this day. It's very rare to find a 90's baby who didn't play the game at least once. Pokémon had such a wide variety of different games and different systems to play it on. And what's even better was that it had it's own television series and movies. The most recent Pokémon epidemic has been the iphone game as well as the most recent movie where, plot twist, pikachu talks at the end??? Yeah I'm mind blown too.

7. The games on Disney, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network websites

Nothing beat coming home from school, grabbing a fruit roll up, turning on the desktop and going to your favorite cartoon channel's game website. While it's not a video game from the 90's they were some of the best games to play as a kid growing up.

8. Rockband and Guitar Hero

While two different games, both served the same purpose. Nothing was better that breaking out that guitar and busting out some awesome riffs to your favorite rock song. With majority of the music being from the late 70's, 80's and early 90's guitar hero and rock band were great games that made our parents totally proud for playing.

8. The GTA games

What was better than pretending you were a real thug and pretty much not doing anything you were supposed to in GTA? Like wasn't the goal to just shoot everyone and run from the cops?

9. The sims

Ah the sims. Where it's completely normal to have 32 kids and be married to 4 different people while wondering why you're on fire in the shower.

10. Crash Bandicoot

What's funny about crash is that not all of the 90's babies will remember this one. So this special video game is more of a shoutout to my oldest 90's kids who are missing their childhood far more than the rest.

11. Kirby

Kirby! The chubby little pink dude that sucked up everything in it's path and then some!

12. Nintendogs

The fantastic game where you had to take care of a pet that wasn't real. Was I the only one who thought their mom was buying them this game to see if we could really take care of a puppy? In hopes to later on get said puppy in real life?

These are only a few of the tons of games from our childhood that made us happy and occupied for hours on end! What's your favorite videogame from your childhood?

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
