A (very corny) Letter to My Big

If you have read my articles previously, you would know that I never saw myself as a sorority girl. I had no idea what to even expect coming into this and finding all these new "sisters" that are going to be in your life for a very a long time. Honestly, I didn't really believe it at first. How am I going to become friends with over 100 new girls and call them friends for life? I didn't believe this until I met my big (or as I like to call her my person).

Meeting my big was something that I definitely underestimated. Everyone telling you, "you will find that one person, you will just know." When I heard this I was like what does that even mean. And then I met Megan (as creepy as it sounds I promise we are not dating). I love my big with everything in me because of how much she is like me and how much she is different from me. She keeps me in check if I'm being outrageous but she also is very similar to me where we both get really frazzled really easily or when we both get sweaty. Your big is someone who is going to be there for you no matter what you are going to and I believe that is the best thing being in a sorority gave me. (Some may say I am obsessed with her which is super creepy but somewhat true in the least creepy way possible) But as I said before she is my person

I call her my person because she is everything that I want to be and everything that I look up to. She is someone who is always is there for me no matter what and always knows how to make me feel better. She has become my best friend in a span of two months (which seems crazy but it all just happened so fast- again not dating). It's the kind of friendship that I know will be there for my entire life and I feel so lucky to say that. She is not only an older sister to me but also like a mom and a boyfriend all wrapped into one (because who needs boys am I right!!!!) But in all seriousness I cannot thank her enough for being the person she is and for wanting me to be a better person. For leading me in the right direction and making sure I'm always happy and okay. I am so thankful for everything she does for me and so thankful to call her my big.
